It's not like the town where you live is on fire or anything.

Ehh, aslong as my car is not on fire, No worries.

Tuning is hardnlong. I got my car started, Lots of **** going on that I'm slowly learning how to deal with. My flex fuel sensor from ebay is DOA. No signal at all even after i switched the ground over to sensor ground. Before it would go max 1% which i believe is flex fuel error. Now the plan is to just run straight e85 till i can get a working one.

Got the car started up after it died about 10 times, didn't have the correct fueling, i underestimated a bit, i made up for it by overcompensating a bit. Main goal is to get fueling and ebc working properly, then I'll start adding timing for MBT.

I'm starting off at low boost 156kpa - (8 PSI)- down from 240 (20 psi ) Overboost set to 170 - then i'll work my way up slowly depending on fueling. Closed loop idle makes my car just die, i really need to work on that and recalibrate my knock sensor aswell - Its detecting everything as knock.. seems this is a common issue with E85. I have no idea where to start on that one should be interesting looking it up on the forums.

Are you making separate tables for E85?

I plan to import my 93 table and use flex when its working. For now I'm making a straight e85 table

My car feels much stronger. Got up to 17 psi, the pulls felt much stronger than 22 psi, just added a little timing i think i was only at 12, still have alot more to add, planning on peaking in the 20s as long as its safe, I re calibrated my knock sensor and its reading well again 66 DC max @ low 11's AFR's, still have a bit to go.

Post a log of the pull! Or at least a virtual dyno image

I feel like I am becoming an adrenaline junkie

I officially have no control of my laptop while driving... logging these pulls were so hard, I'm too busy death gripping the wheel. All other logs showed inaccurately. Also cant trim the files down in megalog viewer cause it errors out once in VD. Really annoying.

17-16.8psi 220 kpa peak and going down to about 207kpa 15 psi, currently on open loop so I'll solve that drop soon enough.

66% dc on injectors, Going to be really pushing it this upcoming weekend at the track, 20+ psi pulls - need a new boost gauge, mine only goes to 20.
At this point once i figure out boost control again

I think there still is a problem that was in the trim function a long time. You need to open the trimmed file in Excel or other calc programm and remove the first empty row.
Then save the file and open in VD.

You can also adjust/trim the rpm in VD and adjust it if there's weird data in there.

Still need to work on boost control - keeps dropping down and i didn't have my boost duty cycle /tps table set up correctly - So i really couldn't run anything better than my first pass of 12.8. I only realized when i got home that it was setup incorrectly.

84% duty cycle.

It will spin 1-3 No problem, PRETTY SURE I NEED SLICKS OR RADIALS, will still attempt to get a better time this week maybe - My laptop died and couldn't test and tune anymore :(

Also need to connect my VICS I know my top end is suffering right now cause of that, I've heard i could use the solenoid that goes in between the 1.8 intake manifold on pre 99's i believe so I'll try that cause i don't have the pigtail for that stupid VICs.

I'm on a budget! I got some slicks for free 99 + some gas and time. M&H 25x8.7x13, still have a little life left it seems. " About 70 passes on them, free to someone that will use them. Might have some life left for a lower horsepower import. "

Came from a guy in maine with a 600-1000hp mk3.

Hopefully i can take the car to the drag this week after i pick up some 13x8 rims, really odd / uncommon size.

Er.... Are those cracks in the tread going across the entire width of the bottom tire?

Wish i could've gone today but unfortunately i wasn't ready. I did get to test everything out though... and all i can say is WOW. Driving on slicks in very interesting/awesome/dangerous. I'm hooking so much better now but once i get up to speed the car feels like it wants to go left and right, really not used to it.

I picked up an extra set of slicks, this time with rims. The slicks on this pair are pretty much done, I think they have one more drag day in them. - Size is 23x8x13, I'll burn through these then put on the size i posted above which is much wider 25x8.7x13 and has much more life.

Can't wait, although not looking forward to having my rims in my passenger seat.

Might remove the seat.

13x8
Ready to go again, this time with slicks

I'm hoping i'll get away with 350 for a while, I'm being very nice to everything after breaking so many things

how far do you think i can push timing? Pretty sure I'm still very conservative at the moment right now around the 17-20 deg range e85

Slicks absorb torque and are more forgiving to the drivetrain.
