That'd be pretty interesting given that I basically directed him to the thread where you and brain spoon fed on how to set the unit up and stated why the stock AEM numbers were bogus!

Haha goddammit. I think I posted the link in this thread somewhere too. Or messaged it directly to you on Facebook.

Sixshooter posted on it recently.... Original thread had great responses from Aidan and brain.

Pretty much got all my parts at this point.. Finally received my PNP connectors for my ID1050s, just need a 94 head gasket to go with my reroute which i can pickup at a nearby store.

Head has been dropped off to get valve seals and a resurface.

Forgot to mention that's included in the job i believe - but i will definitely confirm tomorrow.. also forgot to mention few other things.. like

I'm keeping my FM1 clutch.
I ordered boundary pump with 1 shim. received one with two shims
I get to put a 5 speed back in cause i couldn't find a 6 speed close enough, no one wants to give theirs up!

Figured I'd throw a bit of an update here..

I've dropped the motor back in - I can't wait to take apart the valve cover and the top of the intake manifold once i start painting again.

Just a few changes I've made

I've got a 6 speed now- thanks to rish for both finding the 6 speed and helping me find someone to get rid of the two 5 speeds i had
the only problem with me getting rid of the 5 speeds is that i forgot to ****** the Mechanical speed sensor! One is on the way from the parts group which oddly enough, rish also helped me find.

Filed down one side that was hitting my 99 fuel rail and also de-butterflied the VTCS intake manifold and plugged the hole up with RTV - thinking about that now... I don't think that's gonna hold. - And now I'm also confused as to where my vac connections go.
Also had to drill out and retap the rusted out EGR bolts, i had trouble aligning it straight, i spent a few hours on this. I'm great at wasting time I've come to find out.

This is how i fixed my turbo BOV, used a NPT tap and a barb fitting.

Used these screws to replace those Torx screws on the VVT cover, Phillips head this time tho! They came in a pack of 3 too, it was perfect

Thread title change is due soon, i followed some sound advice and removed the "Emergency repair couplers"

I really just need to figure out the wiring, throw my turbo on and first start which i hope i can do this week

I'm looking forward to your car running!

(By spring next year)

Glad you got the hookup with those parts!

Figured I'd post this here..

So it turns out i wasn't able to rotate my driveshaft around after i connected my driveshaft to the new 6 speed. The transmission spins fine, however my differential is pretty much seized, I had to use a hammer just to move the damper around to get the bolts off. Also I can spin both of my rear wheels freely, so I'm guessing i destroyed my torsen and not another slave cylinder.

I should've been nice to it..

This can't be good would love for some people to chime in on this.... Can't remember how many miles i have on my short block but i found some shavings first on my turbo oil drain - and then again when i drained my pan to verify.
Car has been sitting since last post. Silver unidentified material in my oil .. if i blow this engine, i will blow the car. Going to be keeping a close eye on oil every few hundred / thousand miles. Last time it ran was at the track when i blew the torsen.

I made progress. Wiring is pretty much done, Just need to figure out VVT input and wire in the Cam sensor. I got the crank sensor for really cheap on amazon and has already been wired in using Savington's Definitive VVT guide.

Also picked up a new Torsen - this one should be a T2 - Also have the tools to install the 3.63 myself - I've had it laying around for years

need to 100% find the source of the shavings before you nuke the new setup

I found a extremely clean never used filter. / FML i just wasted a filter.

Just hit me i changed the oil / filter 3 months ago when i dropped the motor in.. Nothing found in the filter cause no oil has ran through it yet sadly. I really wish i had the filter i was running before.

I think the only way I'm going to do that is if i pull the motor at this point.. or get the car running and see if there's more. it was running well before.
