So finally went out to put the Jetstream lights in.
Started with the bumper on and took the old lights out. Once all the old lights and such was taken out I got out the blue tape and the sharpie ready to go.
They give you a little thing to trace out and cut. I think either I was doing it wrong but it didn't seem to go as far as it ended up needing to go.
Obviously the instructions are in Japanese so idk what the hell im looking at.
But I did figure out through trial and error that their are 2 of these in different sizes
With the lights they needed a little bit of space for the screws to go in. So I just did it for 2 centimeters and traced another line.
Then i measured like 4 times and finally decided to cut. This piece got in the way so I had to take that off. Few screws and we are good.
After under cutting and measuring like 5 times then shaving it down with my dremel and fittings to make it smooth. Finally got it placed in snug.
I didn't put the screws in just waited cause the bumper was taken off to do the cutting and shaving
Started on the other side and it went a lot quicker!
Same old same old then I tried to put them down and ready to screw in, it wasn't to my liking so I took them out like 4 times shaved more and finally got them to sit flush. I had to cut part of the bumper support too cause it was in the way.
On both sides, took a while but got them out.
Then put them in and screwed them down!!
I have more pictures just gotta get them off the camera.

So I got some goods in the mail.
I have been working with Alex at speedworksgarage to get a valve cover that will look and do what I need it to do. He also got me some other stuff too that I needed for my valve cover, cam gears, and water pump pulley.
The valve cover has A AN fitting welded on, and another, one so plug in as well for my catch can setup that I need to put in. Also has flush mounted hardware for the looks, and got it made in this awesome color.
I'm really happy how it came out and can't wait to get it on there. Thanks again Alex!
I also bought a used Fab9 Cop kit too.
I will be happy to get that in there too soon.
Need to get on it. Also need to buy more stuff next weekend to keep this thing going until then!

Got my tires mounted and balanced from one of my buddies.
225/45/15 RS3's on the rkr's
The Rs3's vs my beat star specs
The stock tire that I had to put in due to a hole in 1 prior tire
Probably could use a 5 mm spacer just to fully fill it out but don't know, maybe selling these flares and doing something completely custom. Not sure yet, but I'm leaning heavily towards custom.
Leaning towards something similar to this
But only time will tell.

Well then I have been busy selling, and buying stuff recently, after talking with Bryan at Fab9tuning who might I add has been a awesome guy to deal with. Asked him all kinds of questions about the next steps in this build process and he let me know everything I needed to know.
Things I have ordered or are about to order from Fab9Tuning
-Obviously Manley Rods
-Wiseco Forged Piston 78.5mm/8:5:1
-Another Oil Pan Gasket kit
-Going to get a new Oil Pump (unsure of which to get) but ordering today
-Wanted ACL Race bearings, but since they are always out, getting KING XP Race bearings today as well
Things I still need to get/Do
-Gaskets for days, new head gasket, new crank seal, new rear main seal.
Even though I already did all of that stuff in the past like 3000 miles, I just want to be safe and not have any issues
-Need to install COPs
-Need to install new Valve Cover
-Need to install new flares (once completed)
-Need to get head and block machined and such
-Need to swap my open dif for my worsen
-Need to rewire my interior
-Need interior in general
-Need to do a mild engine bay tuck
-Need to get engine bay painted
-Need to get dif seals
-Need to get axels for the new dif
-Probably some random stuff
Lots to do, I want to set a deadline on this, but know it's just going to be unrealistic, so once it gets done it gets done.
I still would like to attempt to build my own engine to an extent but we will see how it goes. I will be doing a lot of research on this, as well as a lot of research on the wiring I want to do so we will see how it all turns out.
Will have pictures once I get everything but for now grabbing all this stuff is the priority
I am planning on pulling the motor this weekend, and pulling the dash as well to get access to all the wiring. Will dump some stuff, not really concerned about weight here but stuff I don't really need will go.

So went out today didn't do the engine first, instead I took the dash out.
Took a couple hours but got it, then just drained the fluid will pull the motor tomorrow.
This looked filthy so gotta clean that up then should be OK to start cutting stuff out.
Left if like this till tomorrow.
I would like to have the motor disassembled tomorrow but we will see.

Alright so finally can update this after the last update the next day went out got the motor pulled.
Took some of it apart the next day but had to look at wedding Venues that night.
Then debated what I wanted to do engine wise. Goal is 300whp I don't need anything crazy I just want to scoot that's all.
Got my oil pump from Fab9tuning the other day.
Waiting on one look good item that I just had to have. But I would like the valve train to be pretty solid so less to worry about up top too. Need to look that stuff up, opinions are welcome on that.
Out the motor comes again. I didn't realize it was gonna be a little bit longer getting the motor or this time with all the turbo stuff in the way.
The pressure plate, clutch. And flywheel look pretty decent.
Got the cams out, and organized the other pieces so I don't miss place them.
Got the head bolts loose and took the head off, took the crank sprocket and pulley off, water pump off and oil pan off I did this after work today, with my hour of spare time.
This is how it sits currently.
Will try and break the block down sometime this week. Then find a suitable shop to take on the work, slow and steady this time.
Once those are off I'll focus more on the wiring side of things.
That's it for now.

Went out tonight to get some stuff done.
Pulled the rest of the motor apart and looked at things realizing this is my first real look at my own engine.
All the bearings look exactly the same which was a good feeling.
Got the crank out with no issues, everything looked good on that we'll, no uneven wear
Got all the oil squirters out and got the pistons and rods out. Walls appear to be good as well.
Now just need to find some money to gather the additional stuff.
