Only major suggestion I have is if you are going to be drifting this car a lot you need to get at least a spare trans or upgrade to a r154. I am currently running my second w58 but they dont like to be abused.

im running a freshly rebuilt w55 for now, stock 4.3 welded rear end and all im missing now to drive it is a drive shaft ill post up some more pictures up on how the car is sitting now when i get a chance

That doesn't sound like a miata... that looks pretty loose now. Not a drift fan but still impressed

I have to say I like this car it runs good. In a way it makes me wish I had left mine na to start with for a while.lol I drove mine last night for the first time in months but I need to figure out how to use my AEM V1 better and cant wait to beat on it soon again.

Also I hope your w55 holds up lol

well at this event i didnt have any sway bars on it i didnt think i was going to drive so i didnt reallt have it ready

thanks man and this is the second motor already i knocked the first one but this one feels stronger then the other one ever did and for the tranny it still feels good my rear end on the other hand sounds like its dieing

Did you get the suspension ironed out better this event? I saw your few runs at round three and it looked like the front and rear ends were fighting a little.

those are videos from rd3 and they were fighting me

Sorry, at work and haven't watched the video yet. I thought there was some other event out at GGP and I figured this was from it.

It had that look. I wonder if the heavier engine in the front doesn't need for some heavier springs or different valving to get the car to stop fighting the front end so you can concentrate on the back.

yea i talked to jeff abbott about it today and he was telling me to up my spring rate in the front from 8k to 9k and put the sway bars back on (witch i knew that part already)
