It's a monstrosity! Pretty cool. You will probably want to switch to a 4.77 rear diff now.
I still think an additional 3/4 inch body lift would be cool, but I know that's a project for another time. |

Enjoying this bizarre build thread, the level of effort and attention to detail is outstanding.

Here ya go for today. Drives like a bag of hammers and makes all sorts of unpleasent noises but.... what do you expect when you build a car. Takes some time to figure out the kinks.

I only regret that I have but one cat to give...
It looks awesome out there in the snow. Hope to see more pics of eppic off roading. |
What a machine! Love it.
When you paint the car maintain the wackiness. |

I can't sell light whips and not have them on my car. Attachment 182443 went trail riding today. Attachment 182444 I LOVE THIS THING!!! Attachment 182445 |
Saw the car on /r/shitty_car_mods. Instantly recognized it in the thumbnail and laughed.

Well I heard a noise the other day when I was on my way home. Sure enough as I was close to home, I all of a sudden a big "clunk" and the battery light came on and I knew what was up...
Crank pulley sheared right off. Attachment 182435 Attachment 182436 Good thing I got spares. Attachment 182437 Got her all fixed up now and she's right as rain. And lights because well.... this thing doesn't draw enough attention to itself already as it is. Attachment 182438 |
^
This thing just doesn't look real, especially with the "Light Sabre Rear Defense System". |
How bad do those tires rub?

Left the shop to go get the mail... head another noise. Silly me didn't seem to notice the temporary shocks I put in there were VERY hacked together by whoever put them to together. (probably cause I was in a rush to get this thing mobile.) Stripped the treads right off the top. Thought I snapped it at first. Good thing I have many spares. Got her all fixed up quickly and I went and got the mail. :)

Well, I tried to go all cool and see how much flex I got. Turns out the snow was still soft and I just sort of "plowed" into a snow bank. I had a good laugh. This car makes me smile. That's why I built it. :D
Attachment 182410 Pulled out the dslr. Had to run around my yard and do a photoshoot. Attachment 182411 Attachment 182412 apparently on a small tiny camera screen in -30 degrees, this looked in focus. Apparently my eyeballs were freezing and I was wrong. Attachment 182413 Attachment 182414 Attachment 182415 Attachment 182416 I think tomorrows project is going to be making a tongue for it. It just needs a tongue. I usually cringe at those people that put a tongue in their bumpers but this thing just needs a tongue. It's a happy dog that has just come up to you full of wet earthy type material wagging it's tail flinging mud everywhere shouting "HEY! I'm a dog and I don't care that you're clean!" |
