S2K wasn't painted lol. Bad joke that i repainted the NB and now it's silver. Not real sure what i'm going to do with the NB. The S2000 is better at everything other than outright handling response, but that's more a function of weight and less modifications.

I love the s2k, but that car will bite you with snap oversteer, I like my NB more than my AP1 and the AP1 made 500whp. Stock for stock the AP1 is definitely more fun because you rev to 9k and make vtec noises and stuff.

Suspension: Ohlins w/ Karcepts top hats, SakeBomb huge front sway bar, tiny NC bar in rear, square 255/40 setup. It's an extremely "friendly" car. |

I did a lot of work to this car to make it not do those things. I've had this car over a year now, I'm pretty familiar with it and both of my NBs. :rofl:

Last time attack I came around the last corner (by the paddock), it's a long straight over a crest into a corner, and I have a bad habit of upsetting the car into that corner. I threw it into a nice 3rd gear slide all the way through, when I got back after my hot laps one dude with an S2k commented about how shitted I must have felt, and I wasn't even sure what he was talking about. He was like, that last corner dude! That was insane! The miata chassis is just so balanced and easy to use, ya know, just steer it with the throttle and it's second nature. Granted, mines far from stock as well. That said, the s2k is sex and I love it. Sounds like you've gotten yours setup to be a little more friendly. I noticed Quinn, (the slip angle on youtube) has his setup pretty neutral as well, which was one of the first times I've seen one setup to my liking. |
