My ram is coil spring rear and no one else makes a low kit for it. Belltech is 2/4 only. The IHC kit is pretty extensive, all new arms up front and a 4-link relocation in the rear. Lots of cutting on the axle. Seemed to have mostly positive reviews, so we'll see. I love the looks, hopefully it holds up since there is no going back.

these are what the silverado guys have issues with. The ball joints seem to prematurely fail. Not trying to scare you off, but just informing you to keep an eye on it is all. Ball joint failure is not a fun thing to have happen (especially if your unlucky enough to have it happen when towing).

Thanks for the heads up, I'll keep my eyes on it.

Got the car back and back into the garage. New ducting clears the trailer! Inch or a mile, clearance is clearance. This still needs trimmed back a few inches anyways.

Also had a surprise shipment from Poland. Tracking sucked so really didn't know when this would show up. I'm not going to go through the stress of throwing this in before Friday.

Couple Notes from today:
-Got 3 good sessions in. Weather held out and no rain.
-NA power is a lot different. I never realized how much of a delay there was with the turbo.
-I have to relearn how to drive. Not just because of the aero and K, I'm rusty..
-Stayed on the RS4s, ran a 2:27 which is about 3-4 seconds slower than my personal best. I'm still going really slow.
-I love my new dash. The shift lights and gear indicator are awesome.

This car looks amazing, glad you're enjoying it! Email me some more pics

NCM is such a fun track too, I'm jealous.

Day 2 notes:
-Have some kind of weird noise from the throw out bearing. High pitch squeal when the car has been sitting. Goes away when you press on the clutch. Goes away after around 1 lap.
-5th is easier to hit with the stiff Kseries mounts..
-Finally got into a groove and had a 2:24. Lots more time out there, but it rained last session.
-I'm still slow. Dan Howard beat my 2:24 in TT6 trim.
-Fuel pressure dips pretty low at high rpms. ~40psi or so.
-Hoping for no rain so I can run the slicks tomorrow.

Thanks! I'm sure I'll end up buying some track photos, I'll make sure to share.

Are you logging AFR? I'd be scared of the fuel pressure dips at the top. Pump insufficient or dying?

AFR has been steady and car runs great. Its the stock pump, may need to switch it out or it may be just what it does to feed this motor.

Dropping pressure isn't a normal behavior. Maybe pick up a Walbro 190HP or something.

Final day:
-Ran the bike loop track (no sink hole). Got into the groove and ran a 2:05 on the shorter track on slicks.
-Consistently getting pad knock back. I have to tap the pedal down the straights to make sure its ready for the braking zone. Jeff Preston checked my hubs out and said they seemed fine.
-The K gets like double the gas mileage of the turbo BP. My 4 gas jugs was all I needed for the whole weekend.
-I'll get some videos up soon. Overall an awesome weekend!

When is the last time you rebuilt your calipers? If they have been sitting a while during your build the seals can get gummed up, even if they look fine on the outside. Rebuilding with fresh seals and cleaning the pistons should help. You can add the anti-knockback springs from Brembo while you are in there, they are cheap and easy to add.

I've also heard that guy's running Miatahubs have noticed a big decrease in pad knockback. I can't remember which hubs you're on already.

They're pretty new. I'm still on the first set of pads on the calipers. I've never seen those anti-knockback springs. Found some residual pressure valves too for the same purpose. Maybe I should go with one of those.

I'm on miatahubs. Jeff checked them out and they seemed fine. He said "some customers still get knockback".

Now, I have no idea if this is bad knockback or normal. I've never noticed it before this trackday.

Yeah, a lot of people tell us the knockback went away completely and some say it got much less severe but still happens at some tracks. Our best guess is that it's caused by flex in the spindle.

You really need to update the thread title. You've got some good K-swap info in here that I missed because I wasn't following this. Looking forward to more shakedown runs!
