From this site: https://www.ecstuning.com/Search/Fmd...hYCBoCn57w_wcB

Mine came with all 4 springs, this may not. Note good pricing and free shipping.

I'll definitely look in to that, thanks!

On the off chance anyone reads this from the area, I'll be in LA on Saturday and Ontario, CA (USA) for a few days after that. Any suggestions on evening activities/restaurants appreciated. And I'm in Jackson, TN until then, but I've already got a nice list of restaurants laid out here.

I ordered an eBay greddy RS knockoff so I can have the flange on my pipe, and I'm going to bolt up my friends RZ to make sure I like it. Then, I'll run the eBay one until I find a good classifieds deal, as I don't see myself paying 200+ for a BOV.

Worst part about this Cruz is it has hands-free Bluetooth but no Bluetooth audio.

My ebay RS is my office desk ornament, biggest pos that came with my car.

Used a o-ring to seal the valve (still didn't seal), and the adjustment adjusts the amount of travel the valve moves up and down No matter where I adjusted the valve it still wouldn't seal and would give me lean issues with MAF/Xede setup.

no ragrets on the FV

iirc on some of the crappier gm stuff you have to pair your phone twice. (once for hands free once for audio) Or it just doesn't have bluetooth audio.

Pretty sure it just doesn't have it. Has Aux in, but alas I have no cable.

So what made you decide to go with like the most expensive BOV greddy makes over the others that are like $100 cheaper?

After dealing with tuning issues on the xede/MAF setup... realized my ebay unit was a sub $50 terrible knock off unit. I had the money and liked the design of the fv, made sense at the time and solved a lot of issues I was having by simply bolting it on Sounds great as well.

The knock off I had doesn't even say greddy on the side. The previous owner of my car put a junk unit on and resold his.

I grabbed the red limited edition too.

------

More info about my very fake rs...

Mine doesn't even have this 'fake' type bottom, it's just a black valve that has a rubber o-ring

The housing looks very similar to the red one on the right, it has the same diaphragm on the inside

Good to know. Mine should arrive Monday, but I won't be back from Cali until late Wednesday. I'll post some pictures of the guts on Thursday.

I have an authentic greddy RS, and I like it. I have it venting to atmosphere and its not obnoxious at all, but I can still hear it, and it brings all the boys to the yard.

If you get a used one, and the diaphragm is bad, you can get replacement diaphragms for them from NGR for about half the price as they ripped off greddy too. Interestingly, their diaphragm seems better.

NGR Type-S Diaphragms

Good to know, I'll keep that in mind when looking at used ones. Now I just have to hope I don't destroy my bov flange trying to tig it myself lol.

Sidenote: Say I used resbond on my exhaust manifold studs because they keep coming out with the nuts. How hard would that be to get out if I ever broke or stripped one?

I have a spare flange if you need... i think. They also sell a beaded pipe with a flange already welded for like $12 on ebay.

We'll see how it goes, and go from there. I have like a 12" section of pipe where I put my BOV, so I'd rather not have it covered in couplers.

I recently had to remove some res bonded studs. Propane torch and they came out pretty easy. Not even too hot, I didn't think.

How's the 335i working out?

I assume the serpentine belt fix wasn't too painful?
