I am heartbroken you sold the Miata, but I feel like you will be back again. See you soon.

Are you going Spec 944 or some big turbo 944 thing?

No idea, it needs a lot of work before I can even think about driving it. Then it will just be more lapping days and time trials. Eventually it will need a new engine so I've already started planning on a LSx swap.

Spec 944 is the hot **** these days. Its cheaper than SM and you can probably be competitive nationally since you're getting in on the ground floor.

I talked with a few people that run in spec 944 and they seemed very happy with it. It's something I'll probably look into a little closer in the fall and then do a build on a different car specifically for track use. For now I just need to learn how to work on these things and continue to get as much seat time as possible.

As for any threads on this car, I doubt I'll be posting up much about it anywhere other than what I already have done in this thread. The car's a mess and I'd be truly embarrassed to show just how bad it is. I'll document the build, but more just for my own enjoyment. This forum is about Miata's and that's why I come here, nobody wants to hear about a 944.
