Stock head, lower compression pistons.

That sucks man. I was hoping to see the eye lash curler in action. :(

Good luck, dude. Hope it gets back in shape soon.

Lol the eye lash curler. I got everything situated and finally drove the car home. Then i drove to get my dump tube welded up. The fm2 clutch is awesome and id higly recomend it. I have some buttoning up or a few more things including modifying my mani for the new turbo. After that, i have to wire in the ls2 coils and then hit the dyno to tune.

That idle sounds amazing, is it disconnected somewhere? You're going to have turbo and supercharger? Insane!

Fixed the timming yesterday with my bend over buddy phil. The belt slipped a tooth. Now though, my maps, all so far seem to work terribly. The car leans out massively at idle until i dump fuel in the map. Right now its only a temporary tune just to able to drive. This Saturday im putting on the new turbo finally and then the exhaust work. Then LS2 coils and dyno time.

Has anyone else had to retune their entire freakin map after going with forged internals with an overbore?

Even if you didn't drop the compression ratio (not sure) you still changed the displacement and therefore the volumetric efficiency. Now theoretically it should still 'be close' and it sounds like you had some other issues, but you'll still need to re-tune the whole thing for optimum results.

I had some issues over the past few days getting this thing running proper again. I realized that I was having password issues with the Hydra so I started all over again from scratch with the base map from FM. Problems solved! Oddly enough though, I think I may have lucked out with the springs that came in my new wastegate. I though I was only going to be at 13.6 psi but instead im at 16 psi! Verified on both the hydra and my boost gauge. Im happy there.

Oh yeah:

The new turbo is BADASS! Starts spooling at 3600 RPMs and makes full boost around 4800 RPM. Im fine with that as it hits way harder then the pos i had on before. I cant wait to run 30psi

the turbo still doesnt spin at idle though which is odd for me. Ive never had that happen before. I guess in a 100 miles or so itll do so.
