Read the lounge about the brain being banned. All info is within.
Leatherface- Keep chipping away at it. Eventually you'll get it running right again.

Drove it lastnight! It runs like *** now and the front and rear main seals are leaking but it runs! Need to change the front seal today, adjust the crankshaft position sensor, and start tuning

Ok so time for an update. Your all gonna love this. The after troubleshooting for week or so, ive come to these proven conclusions:

1. My engine timming cannot be set properly because the **** engine I bought has a slightly warped crankshaft by the crank pully. One of the biggest reasons i didnt want to use this engine in the first place was due to the old crank pully being partially smashed from the accident that the car it came out of was in.

2. I looked at the oil when I drained it and lie and behold have what Braineack calls the the tears of babies; bearing shavings. Engines toast.

3. Im at this point goinh to have to some how get ahold of another grand to get this car going again. Im not spending the money on another used engine so Im just going to have my block rebuilt right with eagle rods and larger wiseco pistons then I had before.

4. Im strongly fighting the urge to part everything on this car out and stop making payments on it. I know I cant do this though as its not an option at all

Hot Rodding has it high highs and low lows. Only the strong survive. Don't be one of the weak ones. Regroup and get it done.

Don't be suprised if you have another epic flop. It happens. As you gain experience, the fail aids happen less often.

I don't know man, I've been knee deep in the hotrod thing for awhile now and the fail aids still creep up out of nowhere! Only addicts can keep up the pace some of us keep, but the internet helps us think we're more normal

It sucks getting screwed, but think of it as a learning experience. Don't let it stop you. Eventually the stars will align.
