Thoughts: Should I put an NA exhaust cam on my head in the intake side? From my understanding, the lift is no different but the duration is?

Just doit, it can't hurt anything. And they're like 50 bucks with the result of a slightly better flowing head.

Started the car up yesterday. I have an exhaust leak, I think the front main is leaking, on first startup, an oil line going to be filter relocator blew off thus spraying a gallon of oil everywhere, and my vac started strong at 21 hg then dropped to 15. Something is wrong again.

Was this an engine rebuild or just a swap?

Swap, there is nothing wrong with the engine. Just a few things that need to be adjusted.
