So the timming belt was adjusted and the problem is still there. I think the cam straps might be too tight. going back out and loosening them a little bit.

SO pissed off. I just adjusted the cam caps, put everything back on, and the noise is still freakin there. Louder now actually which leads me to think the shims either need to be replaced or the valves need to be adjusted. Any writeups on how to do this?
