Just bought my paint and its a color thats not on the road on any car yet. Next years a different story though lol. I LOVE this color. Its nothing blue or gray or orange or purple.....youll see it when its on the car

Did quite a bit of bodywork today but it pales in comparison to what I have to do tomorrow to meet my tentative Sunday painting time.

Its painted and loaded with dust and runs but itll all get color sanded, polished and buffed out. I am so tired. Pics up tomorrow after I put the car back together.

Ok ladies, after many months....its painted. I cannot wait to wetsand and polish this car. Its going to look incredible. I shot the car with a turbine hvlp system which basically means that there is almost zero over spray and paint loss. The coats are much thicker so really one compressor based hvlp system coat is equivalent to a little over 2 in a turbine true hvlp system. That equated to runs like crazy but also an incredibly wet looking clear coat finish. Once the finish work is done...oh boy
