Just ordered my trunk lid. I can FINALLY start getting ready for the bodywork and paint! I decided on a color as well but I am keeping it quiet for now. Its most likely going to have to be custom to get it the way I want it to look.

Back to the car, I am going to start ordering the engine bits next month. I figure I should be able to paint my car before the end of October. The second that its done, I am focusing on the mechanics. Im ordering poly bushings for the whole suspension, then sway bars and end links.

Hell no. Im not installing them. Ryan (gdnimrod) is going to install them. Its too much aggravation to install all of those. Ill let Ryan do it and do it right.

I dont have the press to do the install as easy as I know Ryan has done them in the past. I have realized that part of any success to this build will be in weighing out just how much I will NOT do myself lol

 

I have a few vises and my neighbor has a press. I should be OK if I employ that lube Scottomatic sent me.

 

Even so, its something id rather pay someone to do lol. I may be able to head down to your place and help you though when the time comes.

On an other note, last night while I was with Rudy working on putting in all the brackets for the front bumper to my car, we realized that we smelled **** for about a good 2 hours. I thought he stepped in **** but low and behold, it was me that had stepped in it. The best part was when we were sitting down and as he was holding the bumper, we realized that not only had I had **** all over the side of my shoe as well but, I was SITTING IN ****.

It was a pretty shitty night
