I want a contrast. They still arent done yet so theyre just sitting in black primer now.

 

 

 

I love the color. I really think the tailights should be painted the same color. The only other thing I would have really liked to see would have been the rear fenders molded into the body work instead of riveted on. I feel like they sort of take away from the cleaness of the rest of the car.

 

The tail lights arent done yet lol. Those screws are only temporary anyway. Im debating whether or not to use polished rivets or to paint them black

 

chrome and shiny are not for a miata. dont do yourself a disservice.

 

Came out nice. Very subtle. Definitely better than some gay neon orange or green.

Looks almost identical to my friends RSX which is painted some type of Porsche Olive Black w/ green or something

 

Yeah this was the best color by far. Pics dont do it justice. Sparkling Black Mica and its an OEM Mazda paint

 

with how aggressive your car is, black definitely "subtles it down" a bit and makes it look very badass.

 

Now I know why that color looked so familiar. That is the color of my MSM. Best shade of black I have ever seen IMO. The gold flakes in the paint really look nice without being over the top.

 

Lookin sharp man. Now it really needs some power, it's the opposite of a sleeper.

I already have my list for the power stuffs but that wont be happening till after 2012. Gonna have Ryan (gdnimrod) install my new convertible top thursday. I got my new ball joints and tie rods in. Tomorrow I should be getting the new poly bushings in as well.

 

After looking at the paint a bit more, I think Im going to repaint the car. There is just too much crap that got into it and I know I can do a million times better with better conditions. I hate wasting money but at the end of the day, I want this car to look fantastic and display my best work. Im gonna wetsand everything down first and see how it is. Ill make my choice afterward.
