The only answer is more boost. I should have brought the damn pulley and we could have tried it there. The 80mm is going on. At 7500 rpm that puts me at 129k impeller rpm, a 7.5% overspeed. We'll see what happens.
The metal bits from broken impeller pieces supposedly fall out in the intercooler

I guess anything is possible. Verification can be a simple measurement of the inlet. 49mm for the -64 vs 51mm for the -74. Page 7 on this PDF.

If they put the wrong one in the box it wouldn't be immediately obvious as the external dimensions are pretty much the same. Regardless, the C30-64 is the only smaller C30 series head unit, but even it should flow enough air for 300hp.
But yes, something does not add up.

For those unfamiliar with the rotrex, max flow numbers look like this:
C30-64 will do 37lb/min*
C30-74 will do 41lb/min*
My EFR 6258 will do 44lb/min according to Full-Race. So yeah, something's fuckey. ALLOFIT should be quite a bit more. Have you changed your magical rotrex juice recently?

Oh buy it. Definitely buy it. Unless you want to build it for a project, then build it.
It's the one that FM sells, I find it to be awesome. You don't have to get it from FM though, I got mine from ebay. I didn't save any money but the ebay seller could take my paypal monies and ship immediately whereas with FM that's still a manual wait-on-an-email slowass process.
You can configure when the first light comes on, and when all the lights flash, and it then interpolates the rest. Mines currently set to 4k first light, 7200 all flash. Haven't updated it for the new motor yet.
Edit: it's the Shift-i, here is their home page.

Sorry for dumb question, what brand/what do I search to find it?
Also just a thought on the HP talk.... If you still have your MAF sensor upstream of the SC, try putting a vacuum gauge at the inlet of the SC and see if something upstream of it is chocking the flow up top. A diry air filter, or possibly the MAF could be causing a restriction holding back the powa!

I also have that same shift light and i lurves it. Its rice as hell at first but you discover how hellafunctional it actually is. I went around FM and bought it directly from the manufacturer. Price was lower, exchange rate was in my favor and cost less to ship from Australia than it did from Colorado. Sorry FM :(
My wife asked "what are all those green lights?" I told her they are varying degrees of superhappyfuntimes

My kids always want me to "make the lights go!" "When can we see the lights flash!"
It's not much of a problem with the stock muffler on, but with the Penthuza (I am trademarking that name, sorry Jason) we have to go to an onramp.

I hope we can find the missing boost soon, something is not right, still grrat numbers considering that he lost a psi from before and picked up power. Can't wait to see it at 11-12 psi
