Hope you get everything sorted A well functioning setup with a gt3076r should make a lot more power.
The red/blue line in this graph is my gt3076r at 0,7bar, yellow/orange is at 1,6 bar both pulls with a low rpm limit.

What do you make on pump gas? I assume thats on E85. Do you have any spool data for comparison?

I see, I just read your entire build thread. Our cars are quite a bit different. You have a nice build. I think its much better than mine. I'd really like to see some spool data on your car for comparison.

I put the hard pipe back on and did a log this morning. @ 21psi running 93 octane I'm up 10-20ft lbs/tq depending on where you are looking on the map. Boost kicks in sooner too. Just comparing VD data I was loosing 2.5psi from that hole. I am still dropping a psi or two around 5.5k but it is much more stable than before so Vlad you were right I had a leak and may still have another. Even with this fixed the tail 50mm still has some delay. Pat did a very detailed spring fix on his. I'm going to try it the way he did it and see if I have any luck. I bet its a week or so before I see the FM setup back.

If I were you (actually, I suggest this to everyone) I'd get a smoke tester. You can get them for 60-80 nowadays, or build your own for probably less than half that. I've found so many leaks over the years that would otherwise not be visible to the naked eye on various cars. Just a thought.

That said, make sure your afr's are good after the leak is fixed. Should be making more power for sure

Do you have a link to one you would recommend. This is the first time I've heard about these. After looking at a youtube video, I can see that a good tester would be worth every penny.

Thanks to Vlad I now own a smoke tester.

I'm really surprised at how well this worked. I tested it with my system as is. I think I am going to test it again with the intake of my turbo closed off. So far I have no leaks. Boost hits 25psi and backs down to 23psi, 24 is my target so I'd say its getting pretty close. From what I understand of a mbc is that it will hit a psi high and back down a little. I'm hoping to get some logs done this week so I can verify everything and post a graph for opinions.

On another note I snagged a sweet deal on a quick release. I love this one because its very mechanical, and I trust that it is locked.

So I've done some sorting. I finally found a leak I suspected to be present. I'll need to do some logging to verify. It was the vacuum line running to the ECU hydra suggest using a thin walled line, said line breaks easy. Something about that helps keep readings stable. IDK about all that but what I do know is that its prone to holes.

I threw on the FM stuff when it came in. On the first drive I noticed a very delayed blowoff. I'm using the 34mm turbosmart BOV. I called FM to get some ideas, Jermey did some math and said I need a 50mm BOV. He said that they use this setup for 20ish psi on a 3071 and that there is some wiggle room since they use an anti-surge housing on the turbo. uggggg so I sent and email to tial to see if they could shed some light on why my tial 50mm isn't working well. After going back and forth with them they said I have a counterfeit BOV. Another let down. I have a receipt for the BOV showing the previous owner paid $250 for the thing. So they got ripped off bad. So I guess I'll sell all my FM stuff and go for a real tial 50mm.

1) the "math" makes me laugh because I've tuned numerous cars with same size turbo and even smaller bov's and no issues. and we're talking 25-30psi not baby boost.
2) if it's fake then that might be a problem
3) the biggest problem is the janky hard line to the ecu. ignore FM and their silly logic and use a proper rubber/silicone line like the rest of us

Brand name and real s/n are stamped on the top and better material.

How does it leak. I have the same cheap crappy one, it works great! I had to pump it up and figure out that the copper crush washers were defective. I also sanded the crappy banjo fitting flat on both sides. I put a little orange high temp sealant on good washers and it holds 40psi now. I also run a wastegate spring instead of that crazy stiff huge one, that's what she said.

The BOV is not leaking. I found a leak in the line to the ECU. The problem with the BOV is that it is delayed a second under WOT. It blows off fine under lite loads. I've tried a few springs and grinding material off the spring but no luck. I'm just going to chunk it and buy a legit one.

Well, definitely what 18 said about a real thick wall vacuum line. I had to try several different springs, but mine works better at high boost. Mine does stay open at idle.
