My next car to sale thread
Yeah, that is the only thing that adds up for me right now.
1) he's putting in a "built" motor next week.
2) he's not selling the greddy hardware
So either he got a greddy 1.8 manifold to work with his new built 1.8 (which is fail), OR he built a 1.6 (which is epic-fail).
Dude, 1.8 is VASTLY SUPERIOR to a 1.6, so i really hope this is not true. Ask any of us guys who have gone from 1.6 > 1.8. The lowend alone is worth it, not to mention the ability to upgrade to bp4w, vvt, etc. heads.
Maybe I'm jumping ahead of myself though. Spill the beans, joto!

It's epic-fail.
I'm going to counter that fail with MS3x which I will build myself and E85. There is more to the plan, but in case I change my mind I won't say.
Plus the 1.6 isn't a life sentence. Ideally I will run a 1.8 down the road with a baller ARTech setup. For now 1.6 is happening.
Now I'm done with this thread until I have a real update.
For the record I'm keeping all the 1.8 engine parts.

Seriously though, WHY?! Did you get a good deal on an already built motor? or did you go out and buy 1.6 motor parts when you had 1.8 pistons/rod/block just sitting there?
I want to know how tard you went.

I want to learn MS3x and E85. If something does let loose on the 1.6 because I do something epically retarded I won't be as sad as if it happened on a built 1.8. I never said I was smart. It's not like I decided to go 1.6 with an M45 or something.
SNC m45 crew, checking in.
There is nothing to learn about e85 besides the fact that its awesome.
Also there is nothing to learn about a built engine.
You just do both and run allofit and profit.
You're gay.
But whatever, its your car.

I hopefully can get my ms upgraded to ms3x this weekend. I'm debating to do it because monday i need to drive my car to the body shop. After I get my ms sorted + my ebc maybe we can have a meet up and you can see how 1.9L's of awesome are. I go to the phoenix area on occasion to visit my mom who lives off pinnacle.... i think.

Well I HAVE owned 2 1.8l turbo miatas, a 2000 1.8 and a 2002 1.8vvt. So I think I know what .2l feels like.
But I'd be down to meet up sometime just for ***** and giggles.
