4 of the little bitty ones right at the head, feeding into two big ones under the trunk. Now that's compounding boost!

No, no, no. 4 turbos by the head. Feeding into 2 medium turbos underneath somewhere. Then that feeds a ginormous turbo under the trunk.

Boost pipe built, it fits, and it's now welded out. Going to buy some bolts for the ebay manifold, then start on downpipe.

Yes sir. A crappy one at that. I own two other welders (miller MIG, Lincoln stick welder) but they are in another state right now.

Looks like stainless 304 pipe and mild flux core wire? Though some looks like aluminized.

All the bends are mild steel, not aluminized though they are very shiny surprising. The longer straight pieces that look to be aluimized are, I bought that tubing locally. Wire is .035 flux core from Lowes, Lincoln brand wire.

I have both! Well, I have a grinder, and a wire wheel attachment that goes in my 30 dollar drill.

Made this piece. Took a 3" pipe and ovalized it, and it fit the T25 flange, but I couldn't ovalize it short enough to use and the 90* bend off the turbo fit. So I made a piece that's a lot shorter and does the transition.

Basically cut it in 4 spots so I have two flats, two curves, then pliers/hammer/repeat until it was the right shape. Took about 30 minutes to make it the right shape, then welded it all up, used a carbide bur to clean up the inside a touch, and then surfaced it. It still needs a bit more surfacing, but it's close. Didn't warp that bad welding it surprisingly. Material just wasn't flat to begin with

Gotta shorted the DP studs, then start the downpipe piece.

You can see two flat spots here. I fixed those with a hammer in a bit.

Fixed

Pipe fits perfect

Studs cut to length and installed.

Surfaced 100% flat now

On the car.

Tomorrow I connect these two things and then exhaust to the turbo flange in the rear. Also gotta surface that flange back there too..... Uh. But I hate exhaust leaks as much as I hate gaskets.

The speed of your progress, if not the finished look of your products, are reminiscent of Chip Foose and the A-Team!

Because I'm curious, what happened to the sc setup? Did you sell it?

Thanks man! Sig'd! I want this thing running and on the road by 2/12/16, that would put my turbo compound build at 2 weeks. It's going to be close but we'll see!

I unbolted it and still have it. I may sell it down the road, we'll see.
