Just restart your dual SC build tomorrow when you change your mind again.

You'd be better off with the whipple pullied to about 15 psi without the turbo. The problem is going to be the low pressure flow of the turbo. You'd need a turbo that can flow 80lbs at like 3 psi.

Or just run one of those 60mm ewgs with the tiny turbo.

I'm not following what you are saying. But the whipple is off the car now. Pretty much every compound setup I've seen is two turbos, so I'm doing it that way. Working on building a mounting system for the rear turbo now.

The small turbo will be an ebay GT28 with internal wastegate which I will port when it gets here, and another 38mm external wastegate and I'll port the manifold too. In the rear, GT45 with 60mm external gate.

The new T2 ebay cast manifold. It was 82 shipped I think? So cheap I decided why not, give it a go. If it breaks, I'll buy an FM manifold as I ran one of those on my first turbo build, it worked perfect for 5 years. Sold it to someone here last year...

I don't think it will break, but the design of it is so bad. Flow is going to be absolutely horrible. You can check in the DIY section and I have posted pictures of the one I have at my house now.

Sweet, I'll take a look. I figured the design would suck for flow. We'll see, I didn't set my expectations too high given the price. If it doesn't break I'll be very happy for the price.

Here is my post with how it fits on the car. A few posts later I posted pictures I took last night of it with a FM cast elbow.

I'm still surprised you aren't keeping the SC and feeding it from a rear mount turbo.

I drove a turbo miata for years before doing the SC setup. SC was fun, fast for what it was, but it just didn't have the power a healthy turbo setup makes. Every compound setup I've seen uses turbos, not a SC, so I said screw it and do what works.
