I never see the first page. I think I might have seen it a few weeks ago, but it was worth mentioning again.

In miata related news, my car tried to kill me after the TB set screw on the skunk 2 knock off decided to slowly open the throttle till I was at WOT. It is now JB welded in position so that bitch ain't goin nowhere, but that was probably the most terrified I've ever been in that car. Compounded by the fact that one of the clamps for the reroute hose snapped and sent a giant mess of coolant flying everywhere.

Atleast it runs again. I'm going to hand the car off to a shop to fix a couple of oil leaks. School has been killing me lately and I'd really like to start driving and tuning this thing. Landlord's gonna come by at some point to inspect the garage for a lease renewal so a car up on stands leaking oil isn't really part of the equation here. Oh well.

If anyone in the area knows someone that does side work on these cars (like curly does out west) let me know. I figure there might be someone in the area that races spec and knows these cars well.

I mean.... it runs... and I've theoretically seen boost through it when at WOT because a wired open wastegate isn't perfect...

Second round of break in oil. Don't think I have vvt setup yet. Oil didn't appear to have any shiny bits in it so that was a relief.

Car is gong to be dropped off at a shop or sent to a local guy for the oil leaks and a 'noise' to be diagnosed and fixed before I take off the wire holding the wg open.

Debating whether I'm going to tune it myself or consult a certain forum mod for his services. I'll probably mess with it a bit myself first. Who knows.

 

Ok, sure. I'll tune it for you since you asked. You want ALLOFIT, right? I'll just turn everything up to eleven and send it.
