"New" motor is home. Thanks to Jake (Pusha) for being a dick and not lending me the engine hoist, me and my brother had to carry the ******* engine off the truck's bed.

The return of the flying raft is near.

Update: I took **** out of the engine bay. Motor is ready to come out. However, the association from my place started to give me **** so I had to postpone for next weekend.

I'm a bit low on cash (lots of **** came up) and was wondering if I could skip on replacing the headgasket on the "new motor" to save some dough. Yesterday, I loosen up one head/block bolt, and thought about whether I really need to do this or not.

Holla

Rafty, I would just man up and spend the cash on a new head gasket. If you're really too broke for it shoot me a PM, we may be able work out a deal.

Is not just the gasket. The issues that I'm having with the ***** from where I live at will prevent me from doing ****. I would have to pull the motor in the car to take the ARP studs out to use them in the "new" motor. Or I buy an additional set of ARP studs which means more dough. And yes at this point looks like the bike will go soon.

Update:

Now that the semester is over and I got to do some work on this bitch. Question, what do I do with the fuel rail. I have a 99 motor going into a 95 car. From what I've read the NBs have the FPR in the gas tank, thus the fuel rail does not the return plumbing that the NAs have coming from the FPR. The problem is that the 99 intake manifold in huge compared to the NA and my NA fuel does not fit. What are my options?

Thanks gays

Besides drilling the other end of the rail, are there any other ideas?
