Also because a Miata wasn't gay enough for you.

Disassembly has begun. Insurance is offering me virtually the same they paid out last time so I should end up with about $8k in my packet before selling any parts.

Curly and I worked on it for about 2 hours including putting the hardtop on his DD and getting mine put in the garage and on jack stands in the front. Here's where we ended:

And here's what my radiator looks like. Somehow, not a single leak. Intercooler is undamaged

Turns out, one of the oil cooler lines got pierced on the A/C condenser bracket and that's why oil was spurting out when I started it after.

Shopping for a clean NA.... More yummy parts the better... Anyone seen Urbansoot's car in person?

What's the partout plan? Swapping most of the parts over? Or selling?

He needs to learn to drive on a N/A car. Martin's become a Miata tracking machine after a dozen or so days with Laz's 1.6. Nail and Luke are squeezing the last .05 seconds out of their 1.6. He needs to do this.

Makes sense. I've definitely had second thoughts about turboing and tracking but I like working on the car almost as much as driving.

You two are certainly made for each other, Ed knows all about crashing high power miatas, and Aidan you know all about crashing low powered miatas. With your powers combined, you might be able to successfully crash every running miata in the pacific NW. ~Martin

That's the one. I've just done some math. I am quite sure I'm going to buy it. For the price he has offered it would be silly not to.

Need a local to go see it. Anyone?

Lots of nice parts. Wonder why no Xidas? Not familiar with the coilovers.

Good car to add power later. Don't think it has enough power to really use those 15x10s. I would want a cage if more power was added. Fabworx is great stuff.

It certainly meets a lot of your requirements.

Maybe ed plans on jumping on the mcs bandwagon anyways.

Also, I'll be back in town next weekend if you're still tearing it apart and could use an extra hand.

Holy **** dude. Glad you and pops are alright. Although imho there is a recurring pattern here, and you should take a long hard look at things and take them into consideration when building/driving the new car.

Not to be a downer or anything, and i don't mean to talk smack. I'm just glad you didn't re-shell it or do the bodywork before this second incident .
