figured out the leak was partially the egr block off plate, and partially cyl 4's injector seal not seating correctly. got that fixed and the new map reverent sent me on, forgot to save the old one for when i switch to the gm iat so i will have to get that from rev again. had it idling fine have a leak around the bung i poorly installed into the exhaust, may go get a new welding mask tomorrow morning and fix it. but did a quick around the block running super rich, felt fairly good.

so i put off finding the welding mask till this morning, got it re-welded sorta. never again will i weld laying on my back with no room to work. looks horrible, has a small leak. luckily its getting replaced when the turbo goes on so idgaf.
drove it around and got some tuning done, pissed the neighbors off and made allot of noise. all in a good days work if i do say so myself. driving it tomorrow to do some more tuning and get some more of that wonderful E85.
also planing to add in some more timing a do a virtual dyno run to see if i gained anything just swapping to E85, MS3, and bigger injectors. if i didnt

well 1 Launch Control rev blew the temp fix i had on the wideband bung though adding about 18% across the board on the fuel map got it really close, and VE got it the rest of the way. guess the plan is to cut out crappy pipe, go get new pipe and bung and profit.

I too have always heard a 255 will overpower the stock FPR. We should clear this up right now in your thread, do you need a adjustable FPR if going with a 255 pump using MS?

Only if you cant reduce the pulse widths enough to achieve a stoich idle. The 255 will jack the base fuel pressure up about 10psi over that what the stock would.

So where the stock would be pumping fuel at about 35psi at idle, with the addition of the 255, it might be closer to 45psi at idle.

The FPR is only nessecary to reduce the base fuel pressure back to oem specs, but that doesn't really matter if you can control the injectors and tell them to inject less...

Oh well I have one already so might as well use it and remove a weak link from the system.

I'm pissed I let my exhaust go, but glad it is going to someone who will use it and appreciate it knowing the quality of the parts. You're going to make sweet, sweet love to the manifold and downpipe.... don't ask how I know (sorry for the mess)

Looking forward to your progress! Subscribed since you spilled the beans, was going to wait til you received it. Should be friday still, so have fun this weekend
