Ebay has all lol. Can you still locate a compressor that will bolt up?

Fresh coat of clear on the wing

The passenger fender needs to be replaced. The indicator will not snap in because of the fill that was needed. The 01 front bumper doesn't come with the clips on the back side that snap on to the fender, didn't realize they mounted up differently

It was WAY too hot to dick around with bolting everything up properly. I have some garage star brackets standing by to bolt on the hard top, ebay GV front lip and the wing to install.

The paint guy also "lost" the side skirts so I found them when I went to pick up the other stuff. He will have the skirts done during the week so I can sort them out next weekend.

So right after this video an injector stuck open (apologies for the vertical video). It got dark quickly so I just left it there for now.

To do list
buy injectors
extract broken latch bolts from hard top
weld up the intake
wire up the new head lights
figure out why the windows wont work

Round 2: Wannabe turbo NB6C-img_20160710_112325_zps3rjjvaoy.jpg
I need to trim the underside of the hood some more to clear the hot pipe so everything lines up properly.

A friend has some ID1000s I'm going to try after I tone out the wiring harness to make sure there are no shorts on that injector circuit

RIP injector driver #4. As soon as i turn the key to on injector number 4 gets 12v. The injector wires have no continuity so it's definitely not a short any more. I'll be converting it to batch fire tomorrow and breaking this motor.

Batch fire was a success. Tune needs a metric ton of work but it runs and drives.

Boost cut was set to 4kpa and it hit's that in part throttle in 2nd gear at around 3k. I was worried that the TD05 would be laggy but it appears that's not the case. This car was bananas at 190 virtual whp on the 1.6 it's shaping up to be magnitudes faster than **** off a shovel

ditched the edfc since it only came on when it felt like. With everything adjusted to full soft the road manners are much improved. I'll see how it handles once I take it out onto the main road.

tuning is getting there. almost have it starting on the first crank but throttle tip in is super rich. Googling my eyes out to see what I need to do to solve that.

So a little resurrection. I spun a rod bearing shortly after this post and kinda lost interest. I had another bone stock JDM BP6D motor so I eventually found the ambition to swap that in with the turbo setup. Not shortly after the ******* turbo died. It sat for a while till my wife's car took a **** so i pulled the turbo and made a header to run the car NA while she drove my truck. Not long after that the AC compressor died. All in all my luck has been pretty shitty and pretty much spent the last few months lurking

Long story short right now the car is just plain awesome and it's been worth the trials.

Here is what I made on a stock JDM 02 BP6D, too short intake, 4-1 header (1 7/8 primaries, 2.5" collector), a 3" exhaust on the Haltech with K20 coils and injectors

Newest venture to help me chase down a Lotus Elise S1. Had some Blacktop AE111 ITB's from my brothers old Corolla so I ordered up some 100mm stacks and ITB adapter from TechnoToyTuning. If anyone is venturing on buying this adapter be forewarned. It NEEDS a ton of work. The used a Felpro intake manifold gasket for the port shape, not the OEM. You will have to gouge the ports and fill the bottom and halfway up the sides with JB weld then port them to match the OEM gasket. Also if you have blacktop ITBs.....LOL @ a few mins with a dremel to port match as described on their site (I expected to have to port match this part, this is an observation and not a complaint). You need a proper die grinder and non ferrous porting bit. It is a good starting point but it could be a GREAT adapter if there is enough market for them to do the next batch with an OEM gasket.

Shot of T3 adapter with Felpro gasket. You can see where I have built it up with JB weld to match the stock intake port floor
Last night's event went AWESOME. We got permission from various government and private entities to use a subdivision right next to the airport. The catch is we are only able to use it on saturday nights. Here is my quickest run.

As it stands now I have to finish porting this T3 adapter and wait for the Pipercross PX600 filter to hit the post office before I can **** up a perfectly good formula in the search of more power. I will be cleaning up the bowls and casting flash on the other head and shaving it 0.040 to bump the compression next to wake up these ITB's.

Shot from last night

Video from my fastest run of 69.250. My coworker with the Elise ran a 66.xxx (stock except for Toyo R888R), hoping the ITB's, headwork and some RC1's will get me on his level.

That's incredibly risky, haha! No runoff room, hard obstacles, vehicles, etc. right off the side of the course. Looks fun though!

At 0:44 if my brakes were to fail I would actually end up in a canal, would you believe this is much safer than our previously used area . I work for one of the event sponsors so I'm trying to get some more light towers out there for the next event. We also managed to get in contact with the Gov road works department to fix that dirt covered trench.

I figure when my grand kids are racing we will get a circuit.

Got some more work done on swapping over to the ITB's this weekend.

I need to snag the other engine mount off a friends R33 gtr so I can take the tilt out of the motor so the stacks can point up a little (running a gtr mount on the exhaust side and a delrin puck on the intake side)

I converted my existing map from VE to injection time and the fuel to be TPS vs RPM with map correction instead of MAP vs RPM so hopefully it will start up and i can fiddle with it other wise i have to wait till june when the tuner arrives.

It lives! It's idling basically on a vacuum leak since I don't have the idle air adapter plate tapped yet. Picking up a tap and a toyota tps plug from a friend after work and will get to tuning this weekend. Gotta say it's idling smoother than ever, I enabled the 0%TPS maps and switched the fuel maps to be TPS vs RPM with MAP correction.

I finished bolting up the booster and everything after this. Still need to make the new rod that connects the master to the pedal assembly.

Will be cutting this out on the weekend also to rivet the naca duct to the hood. I'll need to work figure out something so the outlet rests inside the plenum entry when the hood is closed. The pipercross filter hasn't left the UK yet so the plenum is a few weeks away from happening.

Everything is in and working. I actually forgot to enable MAP correction and had to redo everything I did the night before. It drives OKish. This weekend I'll get to dedicate some more time to it.

Manual brakes. I LOVE the feel. I followed Madjak's thread and drilled a hole 15mm above the existing one. Pedal effort is perfect, however I have reservations about being able to heel and toe properly. Looks like I'll need quite a bit more seat time before the next event.
