Are those LS truck coils or just LS coils?
Those are the LS truck coils (I think, I bought them from Justin)

No lol issues I am having are just simple maintenance things really, and still some electrical gremlins... that bearing came out of an engine I picked up to start another engine build. Mine is still running good. I just thought it was funny because the guy said it was a good, strong, healthy engine.

Pics of said bearing? I just pulled a bearing out of my new donor engine that had a good scuff on it, but thankfully the crank is perfectly smooth.

Here is the picture of one of the rod bearings, the crank will need to be polished, but it's surprisingly not too bad looking.

My god, lol. The bad one on my motor was in much, much better condition than that. Seems like the OEM crank is pretty damn strong, i was surprised how smooth all the lobes on my 100k crank were. Yum.

Here is one from this weekend, car ran great...but had to have it towed home :( but it's up and running again.

Does anyone have any take off slicks they are willing to sell? I am going back to Sonoma in 2 weeks and would like to see what kind of lap I can do with better tires. These Falken Azenins just don't hook up.

What caused you to have to tow it home? Looks awesome on the track, glad the car did great!

Well on the way home, I ran out of E85... so I went and got some gas just to make it to the pumps and the fuel pump wouldn't prime, the wideband wouldn't turn on, and it had no spark. I couldn't figure it out, and being on the side of the road was pissing me off. So I used my AAA and got it towed. Turned out to just be a dead relay.

Interesting, so did running it out of gas kill the relay - or just happenstance?

To be honest, I think it did have something to do with it. But I am not 100% sure. If it was just coincidental, that would be odd.

What kind of power were you running at that trackday? Were you happy with the cars handling?

Looks awesome on track, grats dude.

Next time you run out, drop req fuel by 30% and that should get it close enough to limp it home on pump gas.

Sav and Emilio I think both sell takeoffs here, not sure if either has any ATM.

Its the end of the season, so you should be able to get takeoff from up north for stupid cheap money. I've already seen some SM6's posted for under $200 a set, and 315 17 A6's with good life still posted for between "get these damn things out of may basement" and $100/set.

It's making right around what it dyno'd at, so 355-360whp. Car feels good, I want to soften the whole car up. Brakes suck though, going to start looking into BBK upgrades. They work good for a couple of laps and then start fading really bad.

Thanks man, dropped 4 seconds off last time I went up. Just getting used to this car compared to my Thunder Roadster. With good tires it should be much more fun. But I didn't have a laptop with me, but I will definitely remember that for next time.

Neither one of them have anything available.

Soften the car? You mean like make it easier to drive, bring it back from the razors edge or to make the suspension softer?

Yeah, I meant making the springs softer. It's on whatever springs those Teins come with. I just think they are too stiff. I ordered some springs yesterday, I need to get the car jacked up and swap them out. Also need to fix my leaky valve cover gasket.

The stiffness/harshness of the teins isnt the springs, its the shocks.
