Im almost positive its not "erroneous" noise, but actual pressure fluctuations caused by the WG/EBC. I did have some noise issues, but changing MAP smoothing from 95 to 50 fixed that.
The MAP is only spiky under boost when the wastegate is open at duty cycles 80% and less(when its actually having an effect), and the MAP wave is exactly 26Hz. Guess what my EBC frequency is.....
I have a really hard time believing the turbo system can be so reactive and transient at 26hz. Im wondering if the EBC is a boost leak when its modulating.

Shoud I keep smoothing below "50"?
Verify I hooked this up correctly, the left side of the solenoid you cant see has a little brass sintered filter on it. The line heading left goes to the intake, the one going right and down goes to WG. Standard MAC valve everyone uses.

Havnt touched the tach beyond making the new output circuit and enabling in TS. The tach will just barely flutter up to about 100 rpm when I rev it in neutral past about 4k rpm. So im kinda sure its wired right, just need to get a scope on it and see what the 1s and 0s look like.
It doesn't fit the 1.6 directly, remember. When I get a moment im going to make the changes on some MSpaint madness and give it to @ryansmoneypit so he can update the CAD(I really need to learn CAD). SADfab isn't making them and wont unless we receive permission from Ryan, as it is his design, and has only approved sharing it as open source. Even then, we have lots of other stuff on our plate and I wouldn't have any made up any time soon. But if there's interested and Ryan gives no *****, who knows.
That sucks, its funny just a week ago they sold 5 or 6 sets at $40. Must have realized theyre actually worth something.

I run the diyauto valve at 19.5hz, I also limit to 0-30% valve duty cycle since it doesn't seem to bother spool.
Slow EBC down and limit the valve range as much as you can, see if that doesn't level the spikes. If you had EBC source on the intake manifold though who knows, whew, don't do that! Spool should be nice like that though, can't possibly get much better
Your EBC valve should also be set up as wastegate can only when it's off, safety and all. When the thing is working like that only a little bit of boost in the line after the valve up at the can is "leaked." If you plug that other port for some reason the wastegate can won't react as fast, it'll still have boost on it...

Will do, maybe not immediately, but one of us will be in touch.
Will switch freq.
I think the way I had everything plumbed is definitely to blame. Ill find out later today when I get home and drive it.
I mean, just look at this mess, see how the WG line comes right off the map signal?(2nd tee coming off the intake from the FPR there) I think pulsing a small plenum (WG) that close to a teed sensor line would do that lol.
I have EBC solenoid plumbed so that WG is connected to intake under a no power situation or if there is a failure or if I connected a switch, etc. I verified last night, with my mouth , that its hooked up right.

I really don't know what i was doing the day i hooked that up... But, im known for nearing the end of a project or getting to an exciting stage, and getting excited and impatient and doing stupid ****. So there's that.
I don't recall giving wg source placement any thought whatsoever lol.
