Try making usable brake duct inlets for the GV lip. I can't believe they don't exist.

Tried to set ride height yesterday. I installed delrin like 2 years ago and im only now getting around to setting height and getting an alignment. Im having an issue with the rear.

Drivers side preload nut is as low as it can go before it rubs the axle. 4.5" pinch height.

Pass side is significantly more preloaded and im still having a hard time getting it above 4.125 to 4.25.

Something has to be binding. Im going to disconnect my sways and loosen all the control arm bolts and see what happens. Ideas welcome.

Edit-pic no work?
edit2- pic fixed. *** insta

Something is not right.

I loosened all the rear control arm bolts, and the lower shock bolts, and disconnected the sway bar from both sides.
drivers side is at 4.5"
pass side is at 4.25"

200lbs in the drivers seat, and the preload adjuster is a healthy 1.5", maybe 2" tighter on the pass side. you can see an obvious differnce in spring preload in the top of the above pic. WTF?

The gang bang thinks maybe I have a collapsed spring. Time to remove and check free length.

So I got the rear shocks off, removed springs and measured free length.

Drivers side- 6 5/8"
passenger side- 6 3/8"

So 1/4" diff between them, with motion ratio this could be 3/8" to maybe a 1/2" at the wheel, which is the discrepancy I'm seeing. The issue I have is that this still doesn't quite explain the huuuuugeeee diffenece between preload adjustments. In either case, these springs started as 7" springs, and while a little compression is normal, I think 5/8" is quite a bit for a 7" spring. China (Taiwan? no wait... "dutch")Vmaxx, meh. Going to replace with hyperco or eibach and hopefully that fixes my issue. Input welcome.

if you swap the springs from side to side does the problem move? are your end links pulling the control arm up?

Sway bar and end links were entirely disconnected. Haven't swapped shocks/springs side to side yet, maybe today after work.

fwiw- I had a similar issue with completely jacked L/R lower perch positions on the rear. Replaced the QA1 springs and fixed. One of the old springs was .5" shorter than the other "free" once removed. No further testing was done.

I just strong armed Gordon @EO2K into sending me a full set of hypercos eyebox for front and rear. Hopefully that's all it is. Im not even going to mess with swapping springs side to side, but ill swap the shocks side to side when I reinstall them with new springs.

I made some things to facilitate 2.5" springs on 60mm couplers and adjuster rings

Not only did these collapse, they did so sideways

Also got a good deal on some NA seats in pretty good shape. Swapped out my shity pass seat. The foam was absolutely disintegrating, it was performing a self foam-ectomy.

That's pretty disappointing... Mine are 5 years old (14k miles), I'm sure they're even worse. I'm hoping to have Xidas in it for MRLS, if that happens, I'll take a look when they come out.

That would be like 10 batteries, but no just the 1. Also cleared the 100 kilos of cocaine from the fender well, still no better.

Im going to take some measurements today and see if i can determine whats bent or fuked up. But I dont get it, Ive had this car sitting well on all 4 corners with the adjusters within acceptable tolerance to each other. The only thing that has changed is delrin bushings.

Go it figured out. It was basically user error and bad procedure after I swapped that rear drivers side spring. I ended up resetting all the adjusters so that they were equal on each axle. I checked the front springs free length: pass side is perfect at 5.5" and the drivers was 5 3/8". So i added 1/8" to compensate and another 1/8 at that corner for the turbo hardware and driver.

Ended up here for pinch weld heights

Getting aligned on monday:
-I was at 3*/2.7* camber f/r and still wearing the outside edge on rivals. thinking of going to 3.3/3. thoughts?
-I had neutral toe all around, but that was with 85whp. Im now at 200+whp, advice on rear toe? im thinking 1/8" combined (1/16" each side).
caster will be maxed after above goals are reached, ive been getting 4-4.5 at most on this car.
