Had a weird issue the other day. Pretty positive its MS3 related. I started the car and was working on the tune doing some things, i changed a setting and the car stalled (AC related idle up, but MS was not sensing the AC turning on). No biggie, reversed the setting and started it back up. I drove for a bit, idled for another 10 minutes and shut it off. I come back out the next day and the battery is dead. It was down to around 6v. So i jump pack it, drive around and charge it up. When i come back i turn the car off and notice that the car is drawing power, dropping .01v per second. So i disconnect the battery, trickle charge it and decide to come back to fix it later. I come back day 3, hook the battery up and no mower power draw. Now my AC does not work... I have no idea why or where this electrical problem could even come from.

I know nobody has wondered or even cares that this car is still around. But it is, still alive and kicking. Somehow...
Unsure where we left off, or what has happened in the last 4 years. I have been driving it.

I just took it to TOTD for our annual trip. I let my buddy take the SS (which is what i usually take) and i took the Miata. Put it back on 93 tune and sent it.
Only had one issue, i blew my main ignition relay. Since i've had this car over 10 years i can't remember if i replaced it before. No idea why it blew, the pins were a little melted. Had to jump the MS3 straight to the battery in the middle of nowhere which was fun.
Otherwise the car held up great and did 1300 miles.

Can't upload large image files and because this forum is worse than a photo uploading site in 2002 it can't auto resize photos and i'm too lazy to do it manually. So these are the two you all get for now. Sorry.

Lowered the resolution on a few pictures.

Getting this one out of the way. Not proud of it. But nobody was around, i kept it between the lines, and it did make for a pretty neat photo IMO.

Really cool shot with both my cars in it.

The 4 door that makes everyone reevaluate their choice of vehicle. This car is stupid fast. While looking like a malibu. haha

This car is not built like you think. Stroked LS1, LS3 heads, mild cam. Full tube subframes, built to handle. With a good driver this car is so amazing and you would never expect it. My top 3 dream cars right here. I bought this picture too 18x14 and am going to hang it in the garage.
Both my cars in in the background.

Whelp, not having luck with engines lately.

After 10 (TEN!) faithful years and probably 50k miles of absolute abuse and neglect on this built engine i think we finally have an engine problem. Pushing it too hard on the TOTD with no oil cooler was probably not the best decision.
I believe there is a dropped / collapsed lifter(s). Oil change didn't help. If i wasn't ***** deep in a hydroplane i'd spend a little time tearing into this thing.

Sent the oil out to blackstone, they say coolant in the oil which i think is kinda odd. Not sure how this sound and oil results correlate.

Not sure I'd want anyone anywhere near me if I had to get in that position, I keep imagining the following scenario:

Q: So how'd you get that bruise on your forehead?

A: I was trying to jump the MS3 straight to the battery in the middle of nowhere and my "mate" decided it would be "funny" to...

Yo, glad to see some updates here! Really nice to see you've been enjoying the **** of the car over the last few years, sorry to hear the engine issue but that DEFINITELY sounds like a lifter or something in the head and should be a pretty easy fix.

Keep us posted!
