In Soviet Russia car build YOU!
Turbo was sent out today. Manifold is getting welded up.
Some more carnage pics.
After turbine failed I drove 500-1000miles with broken turbo still attached. During this time, the compressor wheel nut came off, causing the compressor wheel to get busted up. Much saddness, it was so pretty

ONCE AGAIN, THE NUT CAME OFF *AFTER* THE TURBINE FAILURE
Apparently, this is normal.
The glory turbine shaft stub

The SS housing is so pretty. Changes colors after heat.

The turbine housing is all sorts of messed up inside. The "lip" has bee deformed (kind of hard to see) and there are about a million of deep scratches on it

Downpipe has a nice bump on it (no picture) and some gnarly looking scratches on the inside as well.

Downpipe is a champ because it survived 2 failures!

wait, you were driving with the turbo still attached? Probably not the smartest idea for many reasons...the above included.
do you happen to have a spare 90-93 a/c condensor?
