My car was actually turbo'd on page one and running well on MS (technically 2009). And has had 2 different turbo's since. So, not quite FaeFae status, but I'm working on it
At least 230whp on this turbo. Any less and I'll publicly commit suicide on this forum.

Sorry, I thought my sarcasm was implied. I keep forgetting, baby.
2554 is a great turbo, though. Don't knock it!
Realistically this turbo is good for a little over 400hp, so maybe 375 on my car with all conditions being perfect.
Spool will be fine(for me). The other guy running one was seeing double digit psi before 4k on a much simpler setup (last PM he mentioned 6-8psi by 3400-3600 or something around there) .65a/r t3 turbine isn't that big at all. I am aroused sexually by top-end highway cars, I can't see this ending in failure. What could possibly go wrong?

Yes, but it's very, very old (built in 1996) with a **** ton of boosted miles(+100k). Over ten years on band-aids and was subjected to my "learning phase" and auto crossed to death and over heated probably 8 times oh and it's been hurricaned on 3 times. Ah, the joys of being 16. I'm honestly not sure how much longer I'll be able to keep it together. Compression seems to be good but I have no idea what range it should be in due to the low-comp mystery pistons. I didn't build the motor, it came with the car. Burns a bit of oil, but nothing to be alarmed about. I have no qualms about cranking this thing to the limit and venting the block. It's my slave.
I've already spoken to Ryan about paying him to build me a motor while i'm away at basic training. I'll be pulling the current motor this week and doing a thorough cleaning on the car before I assemble the new hardware on. The grime you find from 200+k miles of driving....
Larger than stock, .060 over

It's going to run. My turtle pace will be no more as season is coming to an end in the keys.
Update- Thanks to Lars I now have a super sweet engine hoist. $114 shipped to my door
A nice talk with Savington pointed me towards ID 725's, Fuel Lab fpr and a DW300 pump. It's a lot of money for fuel parts but I'm past the point of being a cheap *** and would rather KNOW it will all work beautifully.
I also e-sniped another Holset HY35 off ebay. The 5-bolts are getting harder to find and this one happens to be super, super clean. Already has the 7-blade HX wheel, wastegate welded closed (much cleaner than my current one) and a polished comp housing, so no more puke gold...even though it means I spent hours cleaning it up for nothing The CHRA on my current HY is nice and clean, so I'll keep it as a spare and probably just sell the housings or hang them as art.
New exhaust studs ordered for the manifold, turbine outlet and exhaust side of the head. I needed new studs for the corner as my old ones were custom to accommodate the super thick flange on the FM3 manifold.
I also need to decide what to do about hotside intercooler piping. The OCD freak in me wants the housing clocked down for aesthetic reasons. My plan was to use the FM silicone pipe and use a J pipe to connect it to the comp. outlet. I may still stick with this, but I'm going to play around with the piping I have leftover. Through-fender might be a realistic option here, as well. I could use some info/advice/input on that if anyone has ideas.
Pics coming.
Also found out this was a wrong assumption on my part. Turns out the HY (on a DSM) is good for 550hp @ 35-38psi on pump (602whp was seen on E85). Making my chances of seeing 400whp a little more realistic as I now know I can just keep spinning the damn thing until I get where I want to be.

I won't reuse this block. Use your magical powers to source me a decent LNC/BNC block and I will just give you a blank check. I honestly may have to wait until I move to source another motor.
Luckily I have the patience of a monk.
