New HY came in today. I am pleased with my latest e-snipe.
Came with free MAd tYtE JDM sport coupler
Super clean
I'll hit the comp. housing with a wheel and make it sparkle.
I'm happy with it so far. I'll cap off the source nipple on the comp. housing. Now I have some back up parts since the 5 bolts are becoming harder to find. There is one tiny, tiny crack right at the flapper hole that is perfectly normal and shouldn't leak. The rest of the volute and turbine is 100% flawless and it's been drilled for 10mm studs at all holes (normally two are 8mm and two are 10mm)
EBC is also here.
More pics coming.

Your dick looks like a torpedo. No head.
Not a tractor but, another miata. Well, close enough. I was lucky to pick up this motor, engine stand, PnP COP's from Sav and 4 spare COP's for an easy penny.

It's already built. This is Levnubhin's motor from his 300whp NA. He sold it to Tyson87 and now it's been sold to me. Definitely worth the time on the road to go get it.
Pretty standard stuff. Eagle H's, low-comp Wiseco's, ARP everything, fresh head.

Manifolds on and fit. The turbo manifold is a HUGE pain to mount do the low sunk collector and general "tightness" of it's construction but, it shouldn't be as bad as the FM log that I used for years. Luckily I still have the modded tools that I made just for taking the old manifold on and off.
One thing I need to stress is that is so, so, so ******* nice to be able to work on an engine outside of the car and on a stand. Oh my dear lord it is like being in heaven
I did notice how close the turbine is to the wastegate housing. I'm not sure if it's "too" close or if it will be fine. I'm not opposed to running water to it or making a shield. I'll have to google it and see what I can find on the subject. I'll never be tracking this thing aggressively besides some mild autocross and highway pulls; maybe I'm being overly cautious.
This pan already has a drain bung, but I'm not sure if it's too high to safely clear my a/c bracket with out rubbing. I'll swap pans if it's too close for comfort. Oil lines will swap over as will my reroute parts. The new motor already has a temp sensor in the back, so that's good. This should all be a fairly straight forward process.
Cellphone pic. It's all I have until I get something else.
