The left does not see this as "packing the court." They see it as "balancing out the conservative majority which resulted from Bad Orange Man packing the court."

Spent a week there roughly 10 years ago. It was pretty cool. I didnt think the food was that great, though. I probably have an unrefined pallet thats been corrupted by doritos.

I am very willing and open to having an honest debate, but I dont expect that to happen here. This thread, along with any other thread in this political sub-section seem to be nothing but grumpy reactions to perceived ideological attacks.

Personally, I do not watch/read CNN because its ****. It is on par with Fox news. That being siad, is CNN running segments all day demanding that a font is made illegal? or did they just say, "this is something to be aware of"?
Coincidentally I was once given an infraction on this board for saying "ching chong bing bong", or something to that effect, regarding low quality eBay car parts. Was my reaction to go into white defense mode and rant about how MTnet was cancelling me?

We are all literally the same species. I choose to love everybody as a fellow human, even the people who vehemently hate me, be it because their nation state has programmed them to, or because they are rebelling against a society that favors white males. I refuse to succumb to natural inclination to be defensive every time someone says that their group is victimized by white men, such as myself. I wasn't the one who put them down, and for the most part, they are not mad at me specifically.


One more thought to conclude this.

There are people who seek to profit from destabilizing our country. These groups want to use our extremely liberal freedom of free speech against us and they are not American democrats/BLM/Antifa/marxist/globalists/etc.
The outrage that most of you feel on a daily basis as you read provocative Facebook post is promoted by foreign disinformation campaigns. Its been happening for a century or more, and social media is just the newest, highly potent, attack vector.

 

For someone who is using statistics to prove a point, you'd think he'd be able to calculate a percentage... 28k cases on 15 million is 0,18%, not 0,0018%. Same with his ICU percentage... Jesus what a badly written piece.

 

His math is technically correct, but in CA they don't teach you to convert the decimal point to the percentage amount.
