Do people typically leave their cows running 24/7?

I'm not a cow-owner, so not really familiar with the details here.

 

Yes they are generally left running. Shutting them off is easy enough, restarting them is near impossible.

 

To answer that, do you fart in your sleep? If you aren't sure, I'll wait for you to ask someone who has shared a bed with you.

Personally, I almost always turn mine off when not using it. I do sometimes leave it running when not using it when it's below -20°F outside.

Cows, yes, obviously much harder to selectively turn off and on. They do taste better, though. And easier to chew.
