Answering to all of the above, as it seems this is a recurring point.
Naturally immunity (ie the one you get after contracting covid) is NOT superior to the vaccine immunity. It has been proven and tested that it is wildly fluctuating, meaning that for *some* people it its good and for others it's totally trash. On average, it is much worse than the vaccine's immunity.
Lookup "natural immunity vs vaccine covid" and let me know what you find.

Thanks for reaffirming my belief that most antivaxxers don't want to get involved in a meaningful conversation. It seems most of them just want their pitchforks and to hang the witch.

Of course my wife was out for three days after her shot and my dad was nearly comatose after his, but the thought of taking an 89 year old to the hospital seemed like a bigger risk than keeping him home and hoping he pulled out of it.

The New York Times issued a correction on Friday after a reporter said 900,000 children have been hospitalized in the US with Covid-19 when the true figure is a tiny fraction of that: 63,000.
The mistake was made by the Times' health and science reporter Apoorva Mandavilli, who took to Twitter back in May to claim the theory that coronavirus was leaked from a Wuhan lab has 'racist roots'.
'The article misstated the number of Covid hospitalizations in US children. It is more than 63,000 from August 2020 to October 2021, not 900,000 since the beginning of the pandemic,' the correction read.
