Turns out I didn't even need to reply. Yes, state-controlled health care, death panels, partial birth abortions, even Covid mandates....they all seem to be related. If I was a conspiracy theorist, from a purely actuarial basis I'd wonder if abortion, euthanasia, and the even the effects of Covid have all served to assist a centralized system of government rather than the citizens themselves. Freeing up some Social Security money and generating death taxes certainly is an unspoken benefit for the government when grandma dies of the Wuhan flu. And even big corporations are stepping up to offer cash and over-the-state-border trips to employees who want abortions; the alternative being paying for extended post-natal time off. Bean counter morals.

Otherwise, it's the "sanctity of life" precept that relates the two.
