I don't think Oz is in danger. But what a **** choice PA has been handed, almost as bad as Trump V Biden.
I'm sorta, kinda hoping that both the DNC and the RNC will suddenly experience epiphanies sometime between now and mid-2024, such that neither will appear on the general ballot.
I'm not sure if that's a realistic hope or not. I've proven to be quite bad at predicting such things.
I wonder if this will be another winter of death for those of us foolish enough not to be boosted by now. Asking for a friend.
Heh, probably not. In fact, if the preliminary data is to be believed, those with more shots including the new omicron booster are MORE likely to get another bout of severe covid. I truly hope that does not translate into higher death for that cohort. But it would certainly help us undo this **** show in '24 if it does.
Ah crap I forgot, probably not.

I hope you are correct but I fear you are not.
I have a tshirt I got as a joke in 2015 that uses similar imagery as below. I never thought he would actually get the nod much less win. I've gotten WAY too much mileage out of it.
The thing is, I was not a fan of Trump. Yes he's better than the alternative. Yes, he was better on policy than I thought he would be. But he is too bombastic, and frankly talks too much. If he would shut up he would be a pretty decent leader.
Problem is, the well is poisoned and he is too polarizing. Too many won't vote for him because its him. And we NEED at the very least a centrist in 24 if not an outright conservative to undo the damage the woke af brandon administration has done to this country.

You have clearly articulated a concept which I have been struggling for years to put into words.

My sister is a huge Back to the Future fan. I'm someone who casually enjoyed the series, and likes to obsess over picking apart all of its many plot holes, inconsistencies, and "obvious once you see them" dark undertones, mostly for the purpose of annoying my little sister. In some ways, we're still 7 and 12 years old, respectively.
So, in October of 2015, I made some custom T-***** for her, my brother in law, and my niece, which were dark grey fabric (the closest I could find to stainless steel) with a pretty decent rendition of the DeLorean's time display showing a departure from 1985 and arrival in 2015, just in time for BTTF day, which they wore to the theater when they showed all three films back to back. (Before the second film, they showed a newly-made preview for Jaws 19. Which I thought was clever.)
And, of course, I hit up about a dozen newsstands in NYC on my ride into work that morning before I finally found one that still had a copy of USA Today on the rack, which I purchased and mailed to her.
Around that time, it was starting to look like Trump might actually appears on the ballot in 2016. And, of course, it was impossible to ignore the fact that Zemeckis has clearly based the dystopian-1985 Biff on Trump.
So I also made a meme, and then some T-shirts, depicting the scene where Biff is about to kill Marty inside the penthouse, with #Biff2016 and "Make America 1985 Again" slogans.
At the time, I honestly did not expect that either Trump or Hillary would actually make it to the general ballot. Both ideas seemed absurd.
But, of course, I was wrong.
I find that I am often wrong when attempting to divine the future as it pertains to the behavior of people.

Thanks.
I recall seeing some of those memes floating around, but i was in the throws of local economic condition work issues, finishing up building and house/moving 3x in 12 months, and looking at starting a family. AKA lots of stuff going on, very few cares to give about what was going on. I was also still super pissed at republicans for what they did to Ron Paul in '12.
When Trump got the nod officially, I thought we were living in a clown world. Oh boi how little did I know how things would REALLY go sideways 3 short years later.
