I like to think that, after the Uvalde operation, local police departments are now in a sort of friendly competition with one another, to see who can put the bad person to forever-sleep the fastest.
Like, back at the precinct HQ, someone just painted "2:15" in big numbers on the wall of the break room.
Oh, they're already shouting talking how Hale was driven to the breaking point by society's treatment of trans folks, and the way in which they are increasingly being persecuted by laws which prevent men from competing in womens' sports in high school and so on. She just couldn't take it anymore, and snapped. It's all non-queer-people's fault.

Brainey, still nothing about how these charges are... all Trumped up?
I mean, Donald Trump may have taken the "adult" out of "adultery," but he really is doing all he can to raise the living standards of ordinary Americans. Particularly ex-**** stars.
But, seriously, we've got a whole bunch of liberals screaming that Trump is a monster because he allegedly had sex with a **** star just weeks after his son was born, didn’t wear a condom and after he finished rolled over, turned on Shark Week and ordered fried chicken. To me, that makes him an inspiration.
Now, I realize that Trump is obviously just going to fly to New York, be formally arrested, have a quick arraignment, and then immediately bail out and go right back to Florida. And that feels like a missed opportunity to me. I mean, imagine this turning into a Waco-style standoff. Leathery retirees armed with AR-15s around the Mar-a-Lago perimeter, KFC bags being air-dropped into the compound, reports of Trump running out of vases to **** in after they turn the water off... Ratings gold.
Trump should actually be pretty stoked about this indictment. It means he got the most votes for a change.
The real trouble, if you stop and think about it, began when that $130k check cleared the bank. They flagged it as suspicious, because someone actually got paid as promised by Donald Trump.
It is weird to think about the fact that Donald Trump having sex has actually resulted in something even worse than Donald Trump Jr...
I'll see myself out now.

The DA, who got the job because he claimed he was going to get trump, and gloated he's already sued him 100 times, convinced a bunch of morons that a disgraced lawyer is actually telling the truth now, in a continued and coordinated effort of election interference by the federal government to spy on and attack the political opponent they fear the most?

Considering how much the federal government likes to break the law to go after Trump [100% factual statement], I wouldn't be shocked if it turns out this entire Stormy Daniels "payoff" wasn't orchestrated by the federal government in the first place -- problem was the used Cohen. But now that Trump is running again, they have to grasp at straw to make him look guilty again, like Russia or over-feeding fish or everything else the Fed invented.
The charges are based on speculation and circumstantial evidence, and there is no clear indication that Trump committed any crimes. The case is politically motivated and is likely to fail in court. It is best to focus on more important issues. If anything this should have been a simple fine at best -- like the Clintons and Obamas are used to getting slapped with for all their campaign finance law violations...
Just wait until he's indicted for "instructing his lawyer to hide classified documents" which establishes a pattern...

Robert Mueller had 40 highly educated, highly paid, Trump-hating lawyers on his team, plus all the investigative power the various arms of the DOJ could provide, and they didn't think the Stormy Daniels case was worth pursuing. It is 100% politically driven.
Besides that, Trump could probably have sex with anyone he wanted. Why would he want to have sex with someone that already had sex with almost everyone?

Hep me with the disconnect. One story floating around is that Trump took a business expense deduction on his Fed taxes for payment to Stormy. Other story is that neither he nor his businesses were part of the Stormy pay-off. I'm not seeing how those can both be correct.

That's 67 feet folks. 67 FEET of snow. I used to work at Snowbird ski resort right next door, and lived in a house at the bottom of the canyon. During spring runoff you could hear the water pushing large boulders down the river....awesome.
