Mr. President, why do you call it the China virus?

Because that's where it came from. It came from CHY-NA.

A big challenge in having conversations about this topic is that it has become highly politicized. As a result, people tend to have (or, at least, express) highly exaggerated opinions on the subject. Of those who are sufficiently interested in the topic of global warming / climate change to participate in conversations about it, a vast majority seem to be predisposed to fall into either the "OMG, THIS IS A MASSIVE CRISIS, WE MUST EAT BUGS AND GIVE UP ALL MODERN COMFORTS" camp, or the rival "Man, this is all just a hoax, calculated by The Government to get everyone to submit" one.

The truth is likely somewhere in between these two extremes. Is AGW a hoax / fabrication? There seems to be very strong correlation which suggests that it is not. Are politicians, corporations, and other SIGs opportunistically taking advantage of the potential threats which it poses for their own gain? Without a doubt.

But, compromise positions rarely satisfy those with extreme beliefs.

Spending some time on wattsupwiththat.com and asking yourself "who benefits from more government control and things like artificial markets that trade carbon?", and it becomes a very simple question to answer. Really, really simple.

Jeff Bezos, Monsanto, and the Catholic church.

Who benefits from setting fires at three different oil refineries run by Pemex, the Mexican state-owned petroleum company, in a single day?

Its so easy for people like you sister. Come up with a conclusion and then interpret the evidence to support it, even make things up that cant be proven if you have to. That's the difference between science and faith.

Its like gravity. I don't need to prove that it's true, but I have faith there are gravitons *exist* despite us not finding one yet because things obey a set of observations very reliability in a similar way to other wave/particle functions do in physics.

2019: Covid-19 is released from a lab in China and quickly spreads across the planet.

2020: A significant increase in heart attacks in young, healthy people is noticed.

2021: Widespread vaccination against Covid-19 begins happening.

2023: "Clearly, the vaccines are responsible for this increase in heart attacks."

Young people and athletes were suffering from heart attacks at an alarming rate pre-mandate? You sure, mate?

I'm just going off of the data cited by the interview / article published by CBS. Roughly a 20% increase in adults 25-44 during 2020 (relative to 2019), continuing upwards to about 30% by the end of 2021.

I'd like to review those sources. We did see an uptick in '20 in that age group but it was a lot of suicide and substance abuse. So the question is should that data be vetted: how much of that is stuff like 'cardiac arrest due to OD' and how much of the newer '21-'22 uptick is more shall we say upstanding members of society and 'cardiac arrest cause unknown'.

FTFY.

There's a particular vaccination that's indisputably linked to myocarditis, that just so happened to be given out, for free, like candy in 2021, 2022, 2023.

but it was definitely the mild coronavirus that broke your heart. But just for fun, google “linked to heart attacks/strokes/blood clots” and read the countless articles trying to pinpoint the source over the last two years. Keeping in mind that we all know the source -- covid-19 -- of course!

And when men are in the presence of a beautiful stranger they view as "out of their league," the risks are even higher, with cortisol levels rising so high that heart attacks and strokes become real possibilities, the Spanish researchers found.

meanwhile, Trump still living rent free so the media doesn't have to admit the failures of their lord and saviors.

The Washington Post reviewed “every possible regulatory change” that was made under the Trump administration and found that none of them contributed to the train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio.

“We decided to examine every possible regulatory change made under Trump that could be related to the accident and assess whether it could have made an impact,” read a review published Monday by Glenn Kessler at the Washington Post.
