Soooo.. wait...
Are you telling me that those doors wouldn't open just by pushing on the handles, even though he is inside? That in order for them to open, someone would have to consciously release the magnetic locks?
Hmmm... interesting...

It may improve his chances for an appeal.
Adding this as a separate post, rather than an edit.
Trump himself requested a bench trial (no jury, just the judge) specifically in the NY case. That's his right, under US law. And it answers concerns such as Brainey's "when a judge just decides things without a trial." directly.
And he is now going all-out in social media assaulting and defaming said judge, who still has matters left to decide for or against Trump. That's the part which bewilders me.
I can't even. We are so far outside the norms of judiciary precedent at this specific moment (Thursday Sep 28, 2023) that

I have been contemplating the demographics of the left and the right. How would you describe the people who vote for each party? My initial thought was that the liberals lack common sense and are more emotionally driven. They might be more educated or scholastically ahead but lack street smarts.
I'm trying to put together a list of words for each. I'm so biased that I keep typing ******** over and over in my list for the libs. Especially after the whole SB1 gas tax manipulation.

Clicking the link takes you to a page created by someone who goes by the name Norman Lincoln Rockwell.
One wonders if this is an homage to George Lincoln Rockwell, the WWII Navy veteran who, in 1959, founded the American **** Party.
Fun fact:
During the period of 2009-2016 (the entirety of Barack Obama's tenure in office), the total number of civilian Federal employees decreased from 2.78 million to 2.77 million.
After Trump took over, the total number of civilian Federal employees increased to 2.86 million by the end of 2020, which is the highest number ever in US history.
Since Biden entered office, the number has remained fairly consistent.
This is what's known as an Idiot's paradox. Here's another one:
"Oh things have never been so bad, and ONLY the government can help us!!!"
--government gets bigger
"Oh things have never been so good, and the government can AFFORD to give us MORE!!!
--government gets bigger
