I am pretty sure this is the guy Trump talked about in the debate.

 

Something occurred to me earlier today, as I was reading the show report from last night's debate coverage on the station.

And I'm being totally sincere here.

The nature of media in the US, both the transformation of commercial journalism into exploratory sensationalism as well as the emergence of the social media platform as a fixed gain, variable distortion outrage-amplifier, has gradually transformed the process of selecting and vetting nominees for political office into something which resembles the audition for a reality-TV show.

That the two processes produce similar output should not be surprising.

 

So why do people say Trump gave the election to Hillary because of the debate? Hillary was disgusting and just as bad.

Playing the woman victim card? Really? Shes a victim because some hacker exposed her lies?
Shes the true reason why the people don't take women seriously when they say they are a victim. It's truly sad.

And she still brings up the wage gap? What a joke.

Now dont get me wrong, i'm not going to vote for either of those yahoos but lets say i had to vote for someone.. She definitely pushed me away from her side big time.

She basically did the bare minimum and let Donald hang himself. I cringed at the wage gap and 2nd amendment stuff as well but it's not even noteworthy when your opponent can't string together a coherent statement.

I don't think Hillary necessary won undecided voters over but I think Trump lost some with his performance. Sad part is Trump came into the debate with such a low bar to clear (basically had to keep his composure for 1.5 hours) and he managed to tunnel under that thing.

 

Do you not think the moderator put Donald on the spot more than Hillary? I thought he kept his cool pretty well for being under much more pressure than his opponent.

This was the #1 most watched presidential debate in history with over 84mil individuals tuned in.

 

I don't think so. Trump was only "put on the spot" because of his poor prep for the debate. The questions asked were only noteworthy because his answers were lies or 2 minutes of unintelligible mush.

If you go back and watch, Lester followed up to make sure Clinton couldn't dodge the question about her emails and she handled the question as well as she could. I would bet that if she had spouted some bullshit during that answer she would have been called on it just like Trump got called out numerous times.

 

There are some speculative stories about Hillary being given the questions before hand, hence the incredibly well rehearsed answers.

The claim is that one of here staffers dressed us as a FedEx delivery person and hand delivered a package to her, even though there was no FedEx truck outside.

HEAVEN AND HELL

While walking down the street one day a Corrupt Senator was tragically hit by a car and died. His soul arrives in heaven and is met by St. Peter at the entrance.
"Welcome to heaven," says St. Peter. "Before you settle in, it seems there is a problem. We seldom see a high official around these parts, you see, so we're not sure what to do with you."

"No problem, just let me in," says the Senator..
"Well, I'd like to, but I have orders from the higher ups. What we'll do is have you spend one day in hell and one in heaven. Then you can choose where to spend eternity."

And with that, St. Peter escorts him to the elevator and he goes down, down, down to hell. The doors open and he finds himself in the middle of a green golf course. In the distance is a clubhouse and standing in front of it are all his friends and other politicians who had worked with him. Everyone is very happy and in evening dress. They have a good time and, before he realizes it, the 24 hours have gone by and St. Peter returns."Well, then, you've spent a day in hell and another in heaven. Now choose your eternity."The Senator reflects for a minute, then he answers: "Well, I would never have said it before,
I mean heaven has been delightful, but I think I would be better off in hell."So St. Peter escorts him to the elevator and he goes down, down, down to hell....Now the doors of the elevator open and he's in the middle of a barren land covered with waste and garbage. He sees all his friends, dressed in rags, picking up the trash and putting it in black bags as more trash falls from above.The devil comes over to him and puts his arm around his shoulders.

Ok, open-ended question then: upon what sources should the electorate rely to form their decisions about political candidates? The days of Andrew Jackson's large block of cheese are long behind us.

 

That is an easy one. You vote for whoever Scott tells you to vote for because he is infallible.

 

So hillary made a misake with the emails.. thats all it was a mistake. If i get stopped for speeding i'll tell the officer i thought the speed limit was 50 or whatever over i'm at.. when he corrects me i'll say oh i just made a mistake thats all i should be innocent seeing that it was just a mistake. It worked for hillary so its fine right?

 

Someone else already tried the Hillary defense who was getting charged with leaking classified information. It did not work for him. I am pretty sure it is because he is not a Democrat, or could be it is just a shitty defense.

 

Is it still a mistake if you consciously and deliberately were going 200mph in the 50mph zone? Would you still lie directly to everyone who questions you saying "I didnt realize i was doing anything wrong"?


What she did was NOT a mistake, the only mistake that she made was getting caught.
