**** the Jews!

California Student Council Votes 13-0 To Dump Sabra Hummus from Dining Service - Fast Forward ? Forward.com

The student government at University of California at Riverside voted to approve a resolution calling for the removal of Sabra brand hummus from campus dining services.

The resolution passed last week by a vote of 13 to 0 with one abstention. The removal was requested because the Sabra company’s joint owner is the Israel-based Strauss Group, which allegedly supports the Israeli military.

The resolution was supported by the campus organization Students for Justice in Palestine.

The resolution is not enforceable, and the UC Riverside administration says it has no plans to remove the hummus.

this is not racist. jews own the banks.

If the snowflakes want something to really twisted about, Hummus is originally an Arab cuisine, and for an Israeli company to make and export it constitutes cultural appropriation.

On the plus side, Sabra isn't exactly great hummus to begin with. This was probably just an excuse by students at UC Riverside to get better quality hummus into the dining hall.

Actually, yes to srs.

I wasn't 100% certain about the usage (in college, a tall blonde girl of direct Dutch / German ancestry, who smelled like strawberries and was well-read, once broke up with me for refusing to stop using the word "oriental" to refer to people of a general ethnic origin. To be honest, I still miss her 20 years later, even though she now tips the scales nearer to 250 lbs than 150, and has moved back to the hick town in FL in which she grew up, having failed to be successful in her career in Miami. She was probably the closest thing I ever had to a genuine soulmate, despite the fact that she liked The English Patient and hated The Hudsucker Proxy. Now that I think about it, I've never dated another woman who was a good match to my own height since...), so I did some extensive googling before hitting "submit," to verify.

The use of the phrase "Arab cuisine" is generally accepted to describe the traditional foods of the region commonly known as the "Arab world," of which Egypt (the country in which Hummus is thought to have originated) is counted as a member, both historically and in the present day. The name "hummus" is itself a direct translation of the Arabic name for chickpeas.

Israel is not considered to be a part of the "Arab world," which is defined more by ethnicity than by geography.

Fun fact: Israel extends citizenship and voting rights to Arabs living in territories which were annexed following the Six-Day War.

We've kept in touch over the years, though she is happily married and I am most assuredly in the friendzone on that matter.

Prez is gonna pop a vein...

His mouth and ego are his worst enemy.

Seriously, it's funny to watch this guy and listen to people say how "he's a successful businessman". In a large public company the board would've removed him by now. He seems to have surrounded himself with yes men/woman who basically are *** kissers and he's lacking what most really successful CEOs learn which is you need to have at least 1 or 2 close advisers who don't have a personal agenda. Brannon seems to have his agenda which is not the same as trump but Trump will end up loosing because his ego doesn't let him see his advisors are selling him out. Matter of time before the republican establishment dumps him.

Won't be long before it's every man for himself.

I will say this, as a member of the "mainstream media" (albeit as the boss of the engineering department, where I live in a state of perpetual but uneasy truce with the news department who, at the end of the day, pay my bills and provide me with an excuse to buy / build cool ****): I ******* love Trump. He practically writes the copy himself, and I doubt we're going to run out of material at any point over the next eight years.

In that vein, my new Robot Army nears completion:

Only one left to build. And then: the long, grueling task of building the wiring harnesses. (Ever try to shove eight thin cables through 80 feet of braided sleeve?)

^ I'm kind of surprised the press took so long to figure it out. A blind man could see he was playing them during the primary.

I understood people voting for him as a **** you to the establishment, but it seems like many americans are having Bregret-esque feelings. It still boggles my mind that folks thought that they either thought they could trust him or that he wouldn't do the things that he would say. Seeing the entire GOP rally behind him after going on record saying that they basically hated his guts has been amusing and sad to see.

You mean like how Bernie rallied behind Her even after it came out the game was rigged and after he said all those awful things about Her.

If that's amusing and said you are hilarious and depressing.

CEOs and the Board of Directors do not care at all as long as those stock prices are rising.
