A has-been comedic actor who's very left-of-cneter and unhappy when 1. mob rule doesn't take over parliament, and then ironically 2. doesn't like the way the govt actually conducts itself.

yes, very different indeed, Guvnah. never heard that one before.

you know who else is critical of the news... but he's a racist fascist when he says it.

Mr. Speaker, I rise today to pay tribute to Harry Bridges, arguably the most significant labor leader of the 20th century. He died on March 30, 1990 at age 88. I am here to celebrate his life and achievements on this day, the 100th anniversary of his birth. ... Harry Bridges and the longshoremen of the 1930s will be memorialized on July 28th [2001] when the City of San Francisco dedicates the plaza in front of its historic Ferry building as the Harry Bridges Plaza. He is truly deserving of such a distinguished honor. Harry Bridges is respected by the people of San Francisco, beloved by the workers of this Nation, and recognized as one of the most important labor leaders in the world.

cute little website...

looks to me like after inflation, the bottom quintiles are doing just fine (even after all the shitfuckton amount of programs "helping" them), and paying a shitfuckton less taxes...

less people today are in the bottom quintile, and more are in the top. that's a good thing too btw. hard to find a good chart of this, since they are all biased against "income inequality" which means absolutely nothing -- since the pie is not a fixed value, what income one person makes has no bearing on another person. I just wanna know the breakdown of the % of quintles a year.

also, your income levels change over time, crazy, i know.

Excellent trolling once again. But there's one problem with your approach - you can't post smart comments in other threads and dumb comments in this one.

I enjoy the memes though. Gives some good insight into how people oversimplify complex issues.

i can do whatever i want.

socialism is very simple: it's ******* retarded and goes against human nature.

source: human history.

the only people who believe socialism is good or can be implemented "correctly" are morons.

source: college drop-outs, high school drop-outs, actors, every socialist country citizen, slaughtered zoo animals.

Depends on your definition of socialism. All attempts at socialism (Marxism-Leninism or Stalinism and others) have failed, and obviously don't work. However, a Social Democracy works just fine. Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark and The Netherlands all have similar GDP per capita to the US, have a higher average life expectancy and score higher on happiness. Those countries might not be a good fit for you, but they are for a lot of people. These countries all have more liberal policies than what the Democrats hope to achieve in the US.

When's the last time you visited one of those countries? I think you'd be positively surprised.
