Just in case you were wondering if the health care bill was made with the strict intention of the government to seize personal liberty from the American public, read the link below:

www.senate.gov - This page cannot be found.

Obama's actuary sends his regrets that he can't analyze the bill before it's passed.

BTW, Obama, we are a nation of 50 states, and we're a Republic, not a 57 state Democracy. Wait, Islam has 57 states, not the US. Doh, Gomer moment.

Come on, Rick. This is your thread. You can do better than a two year old gaffe.

And who is Obama's actuary? do you have a quote?

I may get frustrated because there are so many people on the opposite side of issues than I am here, but at least present some facts instead of made up rhetoric.

Looks like the house might actually do an up-down vote so we can have names to nail to trees.

Wrong. We ran out of original ideas at some point around 1978 as near as I can tell.

VA passed an anti-mandate law. If this health bill bill passes it has to go up against the Supreme Court and needs to be constitutionally sound in order for the Federal Government to trump us.

On fixing the MALPRACTICE insurance problem.

How about buying negative outcome insurance before each procedure like an operation?
This way if a patient buys it and there was a bad outcome, the patient gets compensated without the patient needing to hire a lawyer to sue (which has no guarantee of winning even if the doctor was in the wrong). It is possible too for the doctor's malpractice insurance company to offer this for free to the patient if the patient waives the right to sue. This way if something goes wrong there are guaranteed reparations, and both sides save money on lawyers. Win-win.

BTW here are some articles on the corruption behind the "reform" package:
