Cops lvoe to arrest you for protecting the rights of your kin.

RHOME TX - A prolific liberty activist was arrested earlier this afternoon when she objected to officers questioning and identifying her minor son during a routine traffic stop. Amy Hedtke, driver, and her son Eric, passenger, were pulled over for allegedly speeding and things got testy between the officers and Hedtke when she questioned the officers authority to identify her minor son as he was not driving the vehicle and not the subject of the stop.

TSA "agents" love to moleste you.

How Denver's TSA Manipulated the Nude-o-Scope So They Could Get to Fondle Attractive Passengers - View from the Wing

“He related that when a male he finds attractive comes to be screened by the scanning machine he will alert another TSA screener to indicate to the scanning computer that the party being screened is a female. When the screener does this, the scanning machine will indicate an anomaly in the genital area and this allows (the male TSA screener) to conduct a pat-down search of that area.”

cops love easy targets.

Ohio high school officials first told a mother that her 16-year-old son would be suspended for ten days for refusing to hand over an electronic cigarette to a school resource police officer.

But when the local media began making inquiries after a video of the cop pushing, shoving and tackling the teen surfaced on Facebook, Mentor High School officials said there was no suspension.

...

However, the video shows two adults wearing ties, one who happens to be the principal, overseeing the display of police aggression towards the student, so it’s not like they did not witness the incident.

The student, James Craft, said he was walking out of school to board a bus when the principal ordered him to hand over the electronic cigarette, which are apparently banned at the school.

Craft said he refused to hand it over and attempted to make his way towards the bus.
That was when a Mentor police officer, who works at the school, stepped in and began pushing and shoving him, knocking him to the ground where he then piled on top of him.

Another cop ran up and Craft was handcuffed and detained until his mother picked him up.

cops are never off duty, cops love to help you down the stairs, cops lie on police reports, and cops hate cameras.

Video: Denver police officer suspended 30 days for shoving down man standing with hands in pockets - 7NEWS Denver TheDenverChannel.com

A Denver police officer has been suspended for 30 days without pay for shoving a LoDo bar patron backward down some stairs, according to a disciplinary order.

Deputy Director of Safety Jess Vigil found that Officer Choice Johnson, an 11-year veteran, violated department rules by using inappropriate force.

The report indicated that Johnson falsely portrayed the bar patron as taking a fighting stance toward the officer, when a surveillance video showed the man was standing with his hands in his pockets as the 260-pound officer violently shoved him backward down some stairs. (The video can be viewed above. The officer shoves that man at 4:23 into the video.)

The incident happened on the night of July 26, 2014 at the 1UP Bar, located at 1925 Blake St. Johnson was working off-duty in uniform providing security at the bar.

...

During his DPD career, Johnson has earned 16 commendations and has six prior disciplinary actions, the letter said. He will serve the 30-day suspension starting on Sunday.

no battery or falsifying a police report charged against the officer.

cops hate cameras

4/14/15 6:45pm. For asking the last name and department of a police officer who recklessly blew by my entire family, I'm threatened with getting pulled over, a seat belt ticket, and harassed for about 7 minutes on the side of the road. See annotations in video for whole story. I wonder how many times my information was pulled from the BMV database for this escapade of nonsense.

florida cops love to enact martial law.

Suspect who caused lockdown in Collier neighborhood in custody - NBC-2.com WBBH News for Fort Myers, Cape Coral & Naples, Florida

The Jeep stopped in an empty lot on 68th Street. That's when the driver - later identified as Williamson -- ran out of the vehicle and into a wooded area. A female passenger was inside the vehicle at the time. She remained in the vehicle as the driver ran away.

...

A perimeter was set up along 66th Street West to Livingston Road -- where deputies searched for the driver. The scene developed over most of Wednesday afternoon. A SWAT vehicle drove by and the area has been under surveillance by a helicopter crew as well.

Residents lined up because they were not able to get back into their homes. The lockdown impacted those who tried to pickup their children arriving by school bus.

"I got on the bus but there were cops there too saying 68th Street, they have a big problem," said Naples High student Claudia Atencio.

"It's really a dense area for them to search in I think even with the dogs it's going to be really tough to find the guy. I mean it's so thick you can't even get through it," said Dave Jackson.

People stood out in the area for hours - as the helicopter looped around in huge circles overhead.

cops are expensive.

Cop accused of brutally torturing black suspects costs Chicago $5.5 million - The Washington Post

Holmes, who eventually gave what he says was a false confession and was convicted of murder in 1973, is one of as many as 120 African-American men on Chicago’s South Side who were allegedly tortured by Burge between 1972 and 1991.

Though prosecutors accumulated evidence against Burge they thought “sufficient to establish guilt beyond a reasonable doubt,” the statute of limitations prevented prosecution. Burge instead went to jail for perjury later, for denying his role under oath.

On Tuesday, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel announced the establishment of a $5.5 million fund for these victims. The compensation would “close this book, the Burge book on the city’s history,” Emanuel said according to the Chicago Tribune.

Sources: Supervisors told to falsify reserve deputy's training records - Tulsa World: Courts

Supervisors at the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office were ordered to falsify a reserve deputy’s training records, giving him credit for field training he never took and firearms certifications he should not have received, sources told the Tulsa World.

At least three of reserve deputy Robert Bates’ supervisors were transferred after refusing to sign off on his state-required training, multiple sources speaking on condition of anonymity told the World.

Bates, 73, is accused of second-degree manslaughter in the shooting death of Eric Harris during an undercover operation on April 2.

cops love illegal quotas.

Leaked Document From Mayor to Police: Your Paycheck Depends on How Many Tickets You Write | The Free Thought Project

One fifth of Edmundson’s population is below poverty level, and the town collects 35% of its revenue from tickets and fines.

While departments will usually deny quotas exist, more and more police have been admitting to their existence, despite the careful wording to leave enough wiggle room for plausible deniability.

FBI think scared cops are pussies.

Death Of Teen Shot By CPD Officer 16 Times Focus Of Federal Investigation « CBS Chicago

The U.S. Attorney’s Office confirmed Monday that they are investigating the death of a 17-year-old who was shot by a Chicago police officer 16 times.

Laquan McDonald, who authorities say was armed with a knife, was killed in an encounter with police on Oct. 20, 2014 near 41st and Pulaski in the Archer Heights neighborhood.

The officer who fired the shots claimed he was in fear of his life, though no other officers on the scene fired.

A lawyer for the family argues a police camera shows McDonald was no threat was trying to walk away from the officers and that the officers were waiting for a stun gun when the officer fired.

“McDonald, as I mentioned before, was walking away when he was shot and they will argue that videotape supports their version of events,” said Corporate Counsel Steve Patton.

McDonald’s mother referred CBS 2 to her attorney Mike Robbins who told us, “We reached a fair and prompt resolution without time consuming necessity of litigation. We think the city did the right thing here.”

Robbins says he hopes the feds do the right thing, too.

U.S. Attorney Zachary Fardon confirmed that the joint investigation would be led by the FBI’s Chicago office along with the Independent Police Review Authority, the U.S. Attorney’s Office, and the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office.

cops are hackers.

Arkansas cops accused of trying to hack whistleblowers? attorney with malicious software

The police department in Fort Smith, Arkansas is accused of trying to trick an attorney into downloading malicious software onto his computer during his work in a case involving three police whistleblowers, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reported.

The lawyer, Matthew Campbell, said in an affadavit that the department gave him an external hard drive containing three “trojan” viruses, while also deleting email accounts pertaining to the case instead of giving him information.

“One would have kept my Internet active even if I tried to turn it off, one would have stolen any passwords that I entered in, and the other would have allowed the installation of other malicious software,” Campbell said. “It’s not like these are my only clients, either. I’ve got all my client files in my computer. I don’t know what they were looking for, but just the fact that they would do it is pretty scary.”

Campbell currently represents three current and former officers who filed a whistleblowers’ lawsuit against the department, saying they were targeted for speaking out regarding a civilian employee’s taking illegal overtime and the wrongful termination of a probationary officer.

The attorney said he originally gave the department the hard drive as part of his discovery request in the suit. But instead of using an online storage service or sending the drive back via regular mail, Campbell said, it was returned to him via Federal Express. He then contacted an information security expert, Geoff Mueller, and asked him to examine the drive.

Mueller subsequently discovered the four viruses in a folder that was not originally on the drive, which he said meant they were “likely placed in that folder intentionally with the goal of taking command of Mr. Campbell’s computer while also stealing passwords to his account.”

Campbell has asked that the department be held in contempt of court, and has retained his own lawyer in preparation for a separate lawsuit involving the alleged attempt to hack his computer. The department has until April 24 to respond.

“We’re going to let the courts speak on that when the time comes,” Police Chief Kevin D. Lindsey told the Democrat-Gazette. “We’ll let the courts get this worked out and let the disposition speak for itself.”

juries love when cops jump onto cars to escalate the situation so they can legally open fire and increase their kill score.

Ramsey Family Suing Boone County, Deputy after Deadly Shooting | 700WLW

The family of a teen killed by a Boone County Sheriff's deputy last year has now filed a federal civil rights and wrongful death lawsuit.

19-Year-Old Samantha Ramsey was shot by Deputy Tyler Brockman (pictured) after he says she drove at him and ran over his foot while trying to get away. Officers had just shown up at an outdoor party on River Road in Hebron on April 26, 2014. Investigators say Ramsey was intoxicated at the time. Deputy Brockman was on the hood of the car when he fired four rounds through the windshield.

The family is accusing the deputy of using excessive force. The suit names as defendants not only Deputy Brockman, but also the sheriff and Boone County itself.

This past November, a grand jury chose to not indict Deputy Brockman.
