Pro-Russian rebels shot down two Ukrainian fighter jets on Wednesday, not far from where a Malaysian airliner was brought down last week in eastern Ukraine, killing all 298 passengers on board.
A spokesman for Ukraine’s military operations said the planes were downed near Savur Mogila, a burial mound in the Shaktersky region where a memorial marks ambushes by the Soviet army on occupying ***** during the Second World War.

I love the scale that has communist dictator Hugo Chavez only halfway to the left, haha, and even less authoritarian than Romney even though he nationalized businesses and killed or imprisoned any other Venezuelan politician that spoke poorly of him. if you actually read how that compass works, it's uses the UK definitions; so terms like conservative/liberal and left/right mean different things than what is traditional everyone here in this thread.
They also explain that up and down is supposedly social scale, and left and right is supposedly economic.
When you answer questions on art or homosexuality, it's moving you up or down on the chart--or more or less "authoritative".
When you answer questions on a regulated economy or a min public sector, it's moving you left or right on the scale.
cool. However, this chart posted suggests that Obama is a fiscal and social "conservative" who would be politically equal to any other american republican, like Romney. He might as well be Chris Christie's running mate in 2016.

That was a pretty good burn from the Russian guy in an otherwise sissy argument. To me, the twitter ****-up makes the situation a whole lot less mysterious.
I haven't seen anything else about those jets being shot down.
Has anyone actually heard anything new about any of this? It seems like the media has stepped back from the whole situation a bit.
