Now for the upgrades...

This year we will try to pass the 375whp mark on pump so we changed a couple off things.

1. We sold the AEM FIC and bought an ms3/ms3x with an LC2 wideband. the megasquirt will add some nice features impossible to achieve with the FIC. The most noticeable one will be to be able to bump the limiter from 6900 stock to 8000 as power is still climbing at 7k. It will also add stuff like, launch control, traction control, afr safety, high power time enrichment, closed loop boost control...

2. We swap the OEM rods for MANLEY H beams

3. We upgrade valve springs to ZVS855 volvo springs

4. FM stage 1 clutch goes out and we install a custom KMP clutch built by me

5. we upgrade the crappy stock coils to LQ9 ones with plugs gapped at .040 instead off .018 currently with the stock coils

6. We install a billet 11 blade extended tip wheel in the ct26. this should give a better transient response and some extra air from the ct26

New dyno sheet should come in around a month as soon as the snow will be gone here..
I'll try to make more videos this summer of some pulls and at the track...

Up

ordered a treadstone 255 hp fuel pump and an aeromotive FPR today.
Last night test showed that the OEM fuel pump max at around 330whp since i was unable to give it more fuel at 15psi and i was leaning out bad on the top end....

dyno will come soon after the new pump and ajustable regulator will be installed

dyno resuslt, Finally.

We are pretty satisfied with the results. the OEM 10:1 compression ratio was really killing the allowable timing at more than 14psi but still happy with the numbers . total timing advance was around 11 deg on the high boost pull
Also outside temps was around 50deg higher than last time on dyno so it may hurt the numbers and spool a bit

Pink and red 19psi going down to 17psi
Black and blue is dead steady 7psi
(we were picking noise on the dyno at high speed approaching 130mph so that is why the curve is not smooth up top)

This is a 4th gear pull eliminating the high speed noise and to show that the power don't want to fall off even at 8200 (limiter is set at 8300)
Obviously numbers are lower because friction adjustment was made in 5th gear

8300... you have *****. I might have the copy that bracket for the LS coils. Did you make custom wires or did you find off the shelf wires that were the right length.

OEM LQ9 plug wires

and 8300 isn't that high, I was spinning a 95 bp with the same springs and rods to 9k in a drag only protege, and it never failed in 3 years beating the **** out of it lol

Details on the LS coil bracket? Is the original from the truck, and you welded them together?

Also nice numbers, looks like it's not really giving much up on a GT2871/76 as far as spool.

Thanks, I saw that, just making sure that's what the bracket was. Time to search the junkyards.

Default Update new setup

So we finally blew the t26 after driving it 3 month at full tilt and decided to upgrade instead of rebuilding it to run it past its capabilities again

so I fabricated a new manifold
a new downpipe (witch don't really go down at all lol)
we bought an efr6758
And installed a custom water/meth kit that i built

here is the new setup, with the turbo that low it really helps with under hood temps !!!

Very nice, congrats. That's some serious power, and it doesn't give up too much lowend to the 6258 from what it looks like.
