I hope to God I never have to touch this car again. A/C & P/S wasn't so bad, but dealing with the windshield washer in the fender (because of the ABS) and the cruise control actuator was a pain in the ****. I made one pipe and the cruise gizmo bracket twice because I originally hoped to keep the OEM MAF out of the plumbing. The never ending car project (not even done when he arrived!!). I can go off on this thing for a half hour but I have to get back to work.

After I got it from Paul post-tuned, I only drove it to fill it up with gas, but it was very fun

So basically you got every curve ball thrown at you.

You succeeded.

Yet you still wouldn't want to work on this setup again?

YOURE WELCOME!!!!

I helped Paul put the MS in there, ran the wires thru the firewall, and helped get a rough tune on it. (this was when we realized we needed the extra resistor in the ms)

Did you ever hook up with that water jet guy? I haven't seen him in months, so I haven't had a chance to ask him.

OH YEAH, that damn racing beat sway bar bracket. Ha. And the rusty bolts everywhere that would break the heads off regardless of WD40 soak time...BTW Paul (or I) should be sending you a bolt for your rear subframe. I had to torch them off after the first sheared off. But hey, it was a good reason to buy a little oxy/acet. torch. And your lugs are torque to...a lot, except for the front drivers which is torqued to where it should be. I had to erectorset a breaker bar to get the lugs off so I could do the one I/C pipe.

It's nothing personal against you, don't think that! You were great and very patient, and you paid which is always good.

I got 10 flanges from him just last week, thanks! I have enough flanges not to last a life time...I think it's time to try to sell some for a loss, cause they are no good to me collecting dust.

I finally had some free time to upload some pics I took once the car was back at my place to do the final little bits after Paul did the megasquirt install/tune. Here's what a few weeks at "the shore" will do to a mild steel manifold that sits around.

Before:

After:

Lots of room!

Not likely; I build this stuff on my car and I have a 1.8. ARTech does some nice stuff, is quicker and cheaper than me too. Hit him up!

Thanks Tim

Setup looks great. Good job getting everything to fit. Not a lot of room to work with.

And nice touch on the IC pipe

No thanks man, i'd rather have your stuff. Too bad though, cause money is not an option for 400whp.
