Personally I like the turbo clocked down with the new pipe along with no water lines, its a much cleaner looking install. Water cooled jacket would be a nice thing for the Chinachargers to use but for $300.00 what do ya expect?
Damn, that spools pretty fast, looks like it's at 15psi before 4K! I like the look of Crnrhrd's install too, I can certainly do without the aggravation of plumbing water lines to the turbo. My old Begi manifold is pretty similar to the FM, all I have to do is re-drill the flange to the T28 pattern. Thanks for posting the log too.

I have to wait till my income tax return gets here in a week or so, but I'm pulling the trigger on the oil-cooled only GT28 chinacharger as seen here

GT28 T28 TURBO CHARGER 180SX S13 CA18DET TURBOCHARGER : eBay Motors (item 400100651132 end time Feb-06-10 17:40:21 PST)

Seems like it spools fast enough, has enough headroom up top to meet any demands i'll likely put on it, and the plumbing is simpler with oil cooled only.

I'll try to report here if I get things running any time soon. I seriously want to be driving my convertible this spring when the weather's nice, though.

id get one that's a pure rip off. that has the oddest chra. it's also sized like a 2871... read the specs, you want a 60mm compressor wheel.
